I bought the 6500 slide in black and have to say its a very well made,good looking phone. I have had no problems with it at all. I believe Kat is right in recommending it.Great work Kat, and how about a review on the samsung g600 which I believe is also a great phone but without 3G.You are looking fantastic Kat.

I was offered both free on an upgrade. I think the Classic looks the best, but the fact that you can't extend the memory has put me off. I like to carry my music around with me and as I don't have an iPod, the fact you can put a 4GB memory card in the slide is a bonus.

One of my friends has the classic and I was a little shocked when his phone rang, I thought it was really quite. If it was in a busy place I doubt he would have heard it.

i wood chose the slide shorter when not in use and u can pic up a call when just sliding it similar to the fold ones just flip and u can pick up the call on the other hand the classic u need to press a button the stainless steel looks more durable

I only want a mobile phone to phone with and to look good with, hence I prefer the more elegant 6500 classic. It's just so damn sexy! And I don't understand why the reviewer didn't appreciate the 6500's body being made of anodized aluminium. I mean, it's ANODIZED ALUMINIUM! For me, that fact alone would be sufficient for a recommendation!

Personally hate reviews in which the 'reviewer' is biased. If your going to be biased, have some idea as to what your talking about. The classic is far more attractive,its design is far more original. Furthermore, there were no negative comments, so am I right to assume both mobiles are perfect? I think not.

It IS the same phone, they're both the same model - 6500 - however as you point out, one is a slide model, one is a candybar design. True, there are several different functions on each phone, with the Slide being more beefed up on the photography side, which is why I recommended that one over the Classic.

U say they are essentially the same phone! U explain how much more the slde has to offer ? one is a slide one is mono block, one is steel one aluminium, one 94g & one 30% more 123g ? one has 2mp cam the other 3.2mp? one is ext by sd card, onw uses a usb for headphones one 2.5mm headphone jack? They sound the same to me. U recommend the slide because it has so much more to offer even though its the same & thats after it took an age to do everything U sure you did not like it cos it was pretty.
