  • Cool, If I were you I would ditch that Junk TH400 tranny for a TH700R4 overdrive . Otherwise its gonna suck fuel and not go over 65mph lol.

  • cant wait to see more of it

  • that trucks a bute

  • Nice truck!

Are you going to remove the stuff in the truck bed?

What size is the Humvee tires?

  • @Stokeypower I will remove the stuff in the bed later on. I believe the humvee tires are 37X12.50R16.5

  • Was that the Duramax at 1:30 that you said was having the problems?

  • @TheHondadirtbiker My truck is a 2004 GMC Sierra. This truck belongs to my brother and it's a 2008 Chevy duramax.

  • Awsome truck! hope to see more videos on it.

  • Cool ! I'm looking foward when you get the engine running again.

  • Great truck Josh .

  • dont forget to fill the diffs with fluid....

  • im trying my damndest to get ahold of either a humvee OR a deuce and a half. used to be able to get them near ft cambell i had a humvee. i bought from an auction. i sold it at profit before i finished it. ( engine overhaul). many of these units WONT have ignition keys. but instead will have switches. because if you were in a warzone, last thing you want to have happen would be not able to find keys to truck lol

  • @yamahonkawazuki The last thing you want to happen could also be to have someone steal it.

  • @3Mudbone1 true. very true. i had wired a hidden keyswitch into mine. a simple on off type

  • no motor in it?they are descent trucks tho,i would buy more than 1 of those if i were you.

  • @MRcubcadet107 It has a motor see 3:32 I am showing you the air cleaner bowl. If I was rich I would buy them all.

  • @DieselPowerTV i saw that.I was just confused by your description.why did you spefically buy that one any reason or are the all the same.just wondering

  • @MRcubcadet107 All the trucks are basically the same, but there are some differences between them. I think they are all M1008, some have body damage, some have seats in the bed, one truck had 18,000+ miles and another had 89,000+ miles. If I were to buy another I would get the 18,000 mile one. My brother bought one of the trucks, so I will get it running as well. My truck had no body damage, the seat was in good shape, 34,000+ miles and it's a beauty.

  • Cool truck, the solid axles are definitely sweet. Truck should last you along time with proper maintenance and care.

Any plans to lift it and or put some bigger/wider tires on it?

In any case, keep us updated on it!

  • @76280zguy I would like to put a lift kit on it and possibly fit some humvee tires on the truck. I have to save some of my money for now. It could be awhile because lift kits aren't cheap.

  • Whats so nice about the solid axles?

  • @HUMMVE100 The axles have factory detroit lockers which makes them good off-roading trucks.

  • @DieselPowerTV you can get the title no problem. its NOT stolen. thats where the problem would be lol. just have to go into a title search. the BOS and any paperwork you got with truck will allow this. will take a lil bit of tiem but you WILL end up with a valid title
