theres a way of making the seeds plant automatically..... but it includes mods you have to download single player commands then type in "instantplant" then put dispensor on the side of the farm then you can make a timer for them to shoot so when the shoot they will plant the seeds and then it will be fully automated :)

Does anyone else think it would be a good idea for levers (or buttons, but definitely not pressure pads) to be triggerable through redstone? That way, you could like have a button to open a door, but it stays open (just for aesthetics, cause a lever looks pretty ugly on a door) or maybe Jeb could add something to make buttons last longer, because getting a door to close behind you but stay open longer is a huge project.

You don't need 5 minutes of water. It would be more efficient if you just used a pulse limiter at the end of the line instead of the second dispenser timer.

This is great but i think it's best that after 40 minutes an alarm just sounds in your base telling you to manually flip a switch to flood the farm. Otherwise you may be out exploring when your farm gets auto flooded and you are away longer than 5 minutes and miss all the wheat and seeds harvested.
