  • I believe it's called the BFK too, (Big F***ing Knot). I use it a lot setting up top ropes with static line to make the loop going over the edge connected to the biners redundant.

  • thanks..your videos are really valuable....

    good luck my friend

  • Another way to get those 2 bunny ears is the knot called "bowline on a bite". I'd say it'll use less rope and be faster to tie (but most likely weaker then this double figure eight shown in video. Their's also the alpine knot which can be used to create any number of loops.

  • That's called a bunny ears figure 8 knot around here (europe)

  • I like that. Will add it to the annotations with credit to you and the rest of Europe

  • Would this be advantageous/applicable if you used a webbing anchor?

  • Webbing is so strong that I don't think you would have to do this. It would not be wrong just over kill.

  • Beautiful easy knot loops lock independently aswell :) thanks for this one

  • What would you call that?

double figure 8 on a bight?

  • no sound

  • think of the bright side at least you don't have to listen to some know it all guide tell you how smart he/she is!

  • What Johngo said. Notice how I never said it would be nice... You must post your vid, mate!
