Great video, the kids are really excited about working with you. The one practice alone has inspired them to try different things on the court.
My daughter has told me that the best cross up she’s ever done was the result of something that she learned from you in less than a minute which is very inspiring. She is now on the court breaking girls as well as boys ankles and can’t wait to train with you again!
@319Vegeta If U see the video details, he's not moving at game speed. This was more about footwork, just hitting certain spots on the floor, taking TIME when shooting. Obvious to me. The fact he has played the 1 & is naturally 2, makes it known that he's definitely not slow regarding anything in general. Word is his first step & ability to get the ball off just as quick is crazy. 1 of his coaches had a hard time actually seeing how he shot the ball because he would get rid of it so quickly.
After all, I should know. I trained him when he was younger. Just did a random search for him. Plus, it is true, his first step is very quick. He has a hesitation move with a cross that he modeled after Tim Hardaway if I can recall. You'd rather give him a little bit of space than be very close to him. But then you have another problem if he decides to let the 3 ball go. They used to face guard him when he played competitively. He still shot over 40 some percent even when he was younger.
Don't let the him taking his time fool you. Good kid. Good attitude. Great shot and court vision. If you're out there JT check out your inbox, would like to touch base with you. Plus there is a tourney approaching in New York with some overseas prospects. Would love to have you. Take care kid. I'm not even sure if YOU posted this video. -Coach Jason-
@Charm in video details: "He is also working on bringing the ball into a position that is somewhat low to work on luring a running defender into a slight pause or back pedal -- thinking he MAY PUT THE BALL ON THE FLOOR (not a full blown triple threat..a small hint of it instead). "
In all reality, because this player can pull up from 35 feet out consistently, it is almost effortless it seems, but because of this ability opposing teams usually try to face guard this individual & he still hits
