Yea he is triggering bass drops. The reason you cant hear it is because you need a sub woofer so something like that. your computer speakers wont pick them up.

Yes he is. It is a roland "spds". most likely he is triggering his kick with it as well. i use this live as well. i made sample from a kick drum, saved it, then loaded it on to the unit. the reason u cant hear the bass drop is because it is a round 50hz. the camera mic wont pick it up
