  • i wish these were somewhere near me -_-

  • Man i wish Saint John had parkour/free running classes :P it would be alot easier to learn, but here you have to learn every thing yourslef which there is nothing wrong with it wut you don't always learn it properly

  • I hate living in a small town

  • i so wish i lived near where you do these..

  • T_T i would really love to learn this very well the only big problem is that in my country no one train this .....

  • 2:38 are those black shoes the nike free runs? :D

  • In the preview, it says 4 views. WTF?

  • DAMN THEY'RE GOOD!!!

  • @Epic1 Dont let them get too comfortable with the gym, its a very bad mistake. Only use the gym to teach them a new move. If you are going to teach them Parkour or Freerunning, you need to let them practice outside at a park or something. Im just advising you, I know how teachers hate to be told how to do their job but, the gym is not a 100% good place to practice.

  • is there one in san diego ?

    need to know plizzz :)

  • I am a member of a free running class in Sweden it's fun and you learn a lot

  • @Epic1 :0) cant wait

  • @Epic1 Man you should move out to Long Island!

  • @Epic1 Your moving?!D:

  • @Epic1 how long are u staying there for?

  • @blytzace couple years.

  • I wish I could get involved in some parkour training like this! I'm in Kansas, which is the not the ideal place to learn parkour. Plus, the best place I found to practice kicked me and my buddy out, so I don't know what to do :(

  • @ampcorp Anywhere is possible to learn parkour, many kids out in the country have actually built their own obstacles to train on.

  • @Epic1 Yes, they most certainly have! I welded together a vaulting rail in my Ag 1 welding class!! :)

  • @ampcorp Where at in Kansas?

  • @ifreerun95

    Topeka :3

  • @ampcorp Hey dude I'm in Lawrence Kansas And My friend has a parkour class on sunday nights

  • @thatgirlisflyytt

awesome :D maybe I'll look into that

  • @ampcorp Yeah at LGa it isn't at the website though, there are open gyms Lga from 9-11 on mon, tues they will be glad to help you with your fronts, Me and my friends also do some parkour and tricking

  • you let them wear shoes in there?

  • @TacoPK It costs a good amount of money. And a lot of knowledge over things.

  • Man, I wish I had you as a teacher! Of course I also like to teach myself...with the help of most of your tutorials. You taught me just about everything I know, exept the backflip. Learned that one on my own :)

  • Damnnn i wish there were Parkour lessons here in Greece :'(

  • i wish i could go to one of your classes :(

  • lol, every now and then you see some guy shoot past with an awesome move, and it's always Epic.

  • and they do infront of the girls? these guys are gonna have so many chics following them D:

  • @blacklightgamer97 I don't even have chicks following me. Anyone who does this for women is a fool in my opinion.

  • @Epic1 it was a joke man

  • @Epic1 thats cause u have only one... me :)

  • Do you ever do your parkour workshops in Canada?

  • @MrBearbombs No but I'd love to!

  • whens u coming back 2 nyc?

  • @xKidPet3yx July 28th... and I'll be staying there. =D

  • @Epic1 for how long?

  • @Epic1 and ur gonna have workshops

  • Comment removed

  • @TacoPK As of right now there isnt a "certification", Im an instructor as well here in San Diego... As long as you have the creativity to keep the set-ups fresh and the heart to really break thing down for your students your can do it......were hoping to get something started like the ADAPT program in the UK so not just anyone can coach and there is a certification level

  • Wow your students are pretty good... is this the "experienced" class?

  • @kasaikun619 no I only have one class.

  • i can wear shoes in the gym? cool

  • @ChrisDoffen that requires money and funding which... i dont think I'll get. =(( But staying positive... in the future, I sure as hell hope so!

  • @Epic1 If I ever get the funds Kyle I will help you out.

  • i heard that the quieter the roll is, the better it is because it wont hurt as much when you try it outside. is this true?

  • @3choparkour that's very true... the differnce is on concrete you can be quiet but it doesnt mean it wont hurt, but the idea of rolling silently teaches you to control your roll, so when u convert to outside, you're not focusing on rolling silent, you're focusing on rolling comfortably.

  • Where is this gym located?

  • @GcCMattMKW St. Louis, MO

  • @Epic1 Damn... to far. Ight thanks anyway

  • @Epic1 don't stop posting such videos with such great music ok ;)?

  • @Bliizzz23 =P

  • Wow Kyle, I am very upset that i did not know about this. :( Flipside is only 5 mins from where i live, and i have been waiting for a workshop for SOOO long. lol. Next time, you should put something up on facebook or youtube saying your having a workshop. PLEASE?!? lol

  • @dubraybuckeye13 I have workshops liek twice a month dude for the past year... you gotta do more research bud!! I only have 3 more classes and then I'm leaving to new york... next ones are JULY 9TH, JULY 16TH & JULY 23RD. 3-5PM $20 a person! Hope to see you there!

  • @Epic1 I had no clue. haha. But i will definately try to make it to those. There isn't an age limit on it is there?

  • @dubraybuckeye13 ages 8 and up....

  • You do a great job! They all seem to love the classes and you push them more than the typical gym setting. Don't want anybody to get gym spoiled =P Awesome work!

  • @ChrisDoffen if he had funding it would be possible

  • Hey Epic, do you have ADAPT?

  • @AmateurTraceurSpeed sadly no, but one does not need the ADAPT certification to teach parkour... though I am a WFPF Certified Instructor.

  • questions 1)what are the age demographics of the students youve had, throughout all ur time doing workshops/classes? here, it kinda looks like 12-16, but im not sure.

2)are they all wearing K.O. shoes?

  • I had the weirdest dream last night. I've been taking this zinc supplement, so I've had weird dreams all around everytime I go to sleep. Epic was my teacher. Except, not for parkour or tricking or anything, but just like, at my school. And, I was just like, look, it's Epic! And nobody knew who he was.. and I was like, youtube! And everybody was like, wtf. It was. Enjoyable.

  • Oh man, I rellay wanna take part in this, but there isn't anything awesome like this in my area... Where do you come from and teach?

  • Very nice job! hope be training with you someday

  • Fantastic! What a great session... Nice one Epic! The kids look like they absolutely loved it.

  • wish i was there

  • To me, parkour is the closest you can ever come to flying with just your body.

  • those kids really are advanced...

damn kyle... i wish you could be my teacher =/

  • That last move was absolutely beast

  • looks like a really cool thing for the kids, they're so lucky to have a teacher.

Btw, why did the kid do a random dash bomb? That seems quite a bit higher level than the rest of it.

  • I WANNA BE IN YOUR CLASS T_T why , why i'm living in this country!

  • i would so absolutely join this if i lived nearby :L

  • at 1:59 I was like fuuuck !

  • maybe im jelouse. but in america canada and all the richer countries have those gyms and stuff where they can train.

In Russia where i live there is no such thing is a Freerun class and never will be im sure. and thats sad :\ some kids find parkour a way of life other than just sport, or to impress some one.

    i enjoyed this video ;)

  • damn kids and theyre gymnasiums

:l im actually envious cuz i had to learn in the urban environment,

    more risk = slower progress

  • @inuysha360 yeah, you're right. I've got same problem. I don't have any access to gym, and I have to train my skills on sand and grass...

    peace out!

  • haha I both the shoes in 2:38 and I use them both for Freerunning and Parkour

  • I wanna goto your classes.. bring them to australia? please!

  • @blakhell05 buy me a plane ticket!!

  • @Epic1 haha not anytime soon :(

  • ke mariconadas

  • I'm taking one of these classes as soon as I get a ride to where ever it is

  • luckyyy

  • Hey Epic

I have a problem. I really want to make a frontflip outside on sand, but i'm really really scared of it. I can do it in a gym on a hard surface, but when it comes to doing it outside, I get this feeling that just says STOP! I've also tryied to tell mysekf to speedvault over it, but I just can't. :'(

  • @TheRetardedHippo dont get used to babying urself with the mats in a gym, you should train in the gym as if you were outside... it's all in your mind bud.

  • @Epic1 Thats actually a very very good tip!

  • I live in Edinburgh, and I don't really have easy access to foam pits or anything like it... I want to practice front/back flips (never done it before), but I don't think that's a very good idea without something soft to land on? I'm a martial artist and in good shape.

  • You'll want to remove that leading w. from the twitter address :)

Come do this in the UK, pleaaaaase :)! Or, I'd probably travel anywhere within Europe to join.

  • how did you get rid of your fear in doing some stuff? i am scared of doing barrel vaults and dive rolls...

  • @pwningtoenail start small, and work your way up

  • @Epic1 Well, I'm a larger gentlemen (6'0 ft, 330lb of meat and cheese) and I honestly wanted to know do you think it would wise to start practicing this at my current size or slim down first?

  • @docnes88 dude come on.... USE THIS TO SLIM DOWN!!

  • @Epic1 I'll go for it then, but if my ankles shatter I'm blaming you lol.

  • @docnes88 Blame yourself... YOU control YOUR body.

  • @silentdog132 they're a couple $1000 depending on where you get'em from... google search gymnastic mats and look for the 8 inchers

  • 2:18 was pretty sick xD

  • ur girlfirend on the back doing nothing?

  • i wish there were some in my city

  • I want to go there so bad :'(

  • the kid at the end was beast great parkour/free running

  • ohh i see me in the background lol

  • This is a ... Class?!?!?!??????!!????

These kids are already so advanced. Jesus

What do you recommend for someone who really wants to get into Parkour // Freerunning but has no experience with it at all, can't do any of this (at all) except for a few basic vaults, and maybe a way to get in shape? Mind you, being 15. Advice?

  • @BrentonIsHere I have no advice as to parkour, etc., but I must compliment you on your use of grammar and syntax. My God, you wouldn't believe how many people, 20 years and older, that can't even get down decent spelling and punctuation.

  • @burninmunkeys Well, thanks i suppose, i just have the sloppy habit of occasionally capitalizing letters after commas, but yeah, would anyone else happen to have advice for me? i really wanna get into Parkour, it's something i've never been this dedicated to in my life.

  • @BrentonIsHere start with the basics, learn to jump, learn to roll, learn to fall... and as you progress learn to break differnet movements and techniques down into steps and walk yourself through movements. And never allow yourself to do wreckless shyt, to me PERSONALLY... this ART is NOT about doing this biggest most craziest shyt.
