  • Aw man I wish I had a class field trip like this ahahaha. :)

  • funny how they were more excited to be in a lunchables advertisement than they were when they were meeting aliens

  • lmfao

  • this is bs those aliens could've had a contagious disease and infected that girl

  • psycologically scarring kids that all adults are liars. Thanks lunchables!

  • I was waiting for ashton kutcher

  • That's ridiculous.

  • aw that's so cool. I wish I got to go on a trip like this as a kid

  • lol....that was kind of messed up O_o

  • the kids still think they're real

  • i wish i were kid again...

  • again as far as the product being garbage...i totally agree

  • I ate worms. Lunchables is a commercial product that is designed to make someone some money. You are perfectly FREE to refrain from contributing to their wealth. Quit bashing them. They are not forcing these $3 crackers down your kids throats. It's a SNACK for Christ sake. When they get home, cook for them and feed them a good meal and talk about what they did today. RAISE YOUR KIDS!!! Don't just fertilize and water them.

  • Every time you sit your children down at the Boob Tube you are either lying to them or allowing someone else lie to them. Don't get upity about lying to kids. You are the one responsible for raising them. Also, every time you open a can of spaghettios or a box of MacNCheese you are feeding your kits crap so that you can be lazy. Don't get upity about what your kids eat. You are responsible for their nutrition. Everyone needs a little crap in their diet - its good for their immune system.

  • Aww man, I thought the alien was gonna vaporize the girl or something. This video is comedically lacking.

  • HAHA! pathetic people on youtube "ah! America bad bad! they poison children and their minds! lies! lies" Pathetic.

  • THATS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!

  • Nothing opens a childs mind like a field trip... and bold faced lies which are used to distract from the message by having nothing to do with the message at all. Thank you America for using your standard political strategy in ad marketing and public media policy to specifically profit from lying to children YET AGAIN.

  • This is fucked up on so many levels.

  • Stephen Hawking has said that we should do everything we can to avoid contact with alien lifeforms. He likened it to when the native Americans went out to greet the 1st European explorers (that ended badly). I have been researching but so far I haven't been able to find Stephen Hawking's views on Lunchables. He's pretty smart, so he probably hates them as much as I do :)

  • They cast a Sarah Palin lookalike to lie to Children? This commercial needs to go into a time capsule because it best represents the present state of American society.

  • All these people talking about Lunchables is so bad, is probably eating Fast Food everyday. Hypocrites.

  • If not a commerical itself it's criminal.

  • Those tricky bastards.

  • Shows how open minded and accepting our youth are. Keep your kids this way with non discriminating parenting.

  • Are you !@#$ing me -- Oscar Meyer duped these kids to make a commercial for their pre-packaged, nitrate- and salt-filled 'lunch' product. And as a parent I'm supposed to think this is a great idea? And as an ad man I'm supposed to be proud of this work from my industry? Garbage product. Garbage ad.

  • @jackchadam...dude seriously!!! I don't agree with the quality of the food but before you comment...are you going to tell us your kids have never been to McDonalds?? The kids got "duped"? Give me a break...you never told your kids about Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy? I

If these kids were in this ad it's because their PARENTS signed the permission! As a marketer I understand this...as and ad man you should too!

  • and the aliens suck there brains out XD

  • they seem to buy into that. Whatever, they're having fun.

  • Please feed our children better food lunchables. I think you can spend more money on that than giving away field trips. Thank you!

I just rejected your offer to advertise for you on twitter because your food is not healthy for our children.

  • @Rachelyne Lunchables are fucking delicious.

  • FREE advertising for Lunchables to get people to endorse them and tweet about them for a CAUSE? Really, parents - how many of you have read the label?? You need to stop supporting companies that are poisoning our children under the guise of goodness. GOOGLE: Jamie Oliver Attacks Kraft's Lunchables -- A First for Network TV> GOOGLE: Lunchables since 2001 they have been "GOING HEALTHY" at the cost of our children & parents who don't read labels.

  • Respond to this video...

  • I loved it! The expressions on the children's faces and their comments were priceless! It shows how very magical field trips can be, and what is possible if you only have a little imagination. The children obviously didn't mind being tricked. This was a moment that none of them will ever forget!

  • Respond to this video...

  • Poor kids.

  • fake. I saw the strings. there was a zipper on the back. you could tell it was photoshopped. the picture was grainy. surgery scars. obvious forced perspective. commercial actors.

  • @Brastius Eh... that is what they said in the end, why do you need to point it out?

  • It would BE BETTER if Lunchables was GOOD FOR YOU - the sugar alone is equal to 4 glazed donuts!!! Please do us a favor and stop feeding toxins to our children!

  • @SailCelestine lol they are not feeding your kids, if you are a parent you are responsible to decide what they eat!

  • I love it :D

  • I DONT EVEN WORK HERE!!!!

  • this has to be fake... its impossible for a 5th grader to be THAT dumb.....

  • @fmeriqui You have obviously not met my nephews. It is not only possible... but does happen. :P

  • @MnMike1970 looooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • There must be at least one kid that was really pissed off when he/she realised they werent real aliens.

  • That's ridiculous. These kids have got to be old enough to realize that's not true.

  • i love how their more excited about the commercial than the aliens

  • Lunchables.. oh for pants sake.

  • surely their old enough to know that was a guy in a suit

  • What's with all the YouTube pages?

  • lunchables? huh?!

  • ... That's a bit fucked.

  • Aww such a beautiful experience for children. But that was kinda mean at the end...

  • Some people clearly have no faith in kids. They knew perfectly well it was fake! Just look at the end: "This is not a real alien" - blank stares, duh. "You're in a commercial!' expressions of surprise, whooping and clapping. It's just been edited to make it look like they didn't know, because that's more entertaining. You guys did SEE the aliens, right? And Lunchables have been making ads peddling unhealthy food to children for a while now. At least this ad campaign is offering something back!

  • i'd be so pissed if i were those kids.

  • @ccoott me too, they actually believed they were real :(

  • What a terrible letdown to think there were real aliens, and then find out they were just people in costumes.

  • This entire concept kind of bothered me even before I knew it was an ad for Lunchables. But then I started thinking about it and you can't use a child's likeness without the consent of their parents which would've been given prior to the field trip so either all the kids were paid actors or they at least had an idea that they would be being filmed.

  • @llamasapplepie perhaps they secretly asked the parents if they would like to have their children featured in the commercial. they could have sent a letter home to the parents that the kids did not read so as not to spoil the surprise. i find it highly unlikely that those children were acting because the majority of them looked genuinely surprised. when you were that age im sure you believed in plenty of things that now seem ridiculous.

  • disgusting commercial manipulation of kids natural credulity

  • lunchables...

if this wasn't an add i would think it was kinda cute, but weird .

  • I'm not sure how I feel about this. :\

  • Not too sure about using innocent children for commercial, but I have to say that this is one cute piece of work absolutely gets people to talk about!

  • wtf? Lunchable is bullshit!

  • it wont work ):

  • wtf did this have to do w/ lunchables?

  • LMAOF !!!!!!!!!!!!! Lala LOVE IT!

  • Oh, I'm soooo totally from an ad agency just because I find all the negative comment bullshit. Santa, Easter Bunny, and all that other stuff is close to lying. Maybe not scientifically, but tell me; was there ever a scenario where EVERYTHING is science is right? And seriously, kids will ALWAYS have a bigger imagination. They grow up learning real stuff, and that's how they'll deal with it. Forcing them into real life without helping them improve their imagination? Now THAT'S scary. Sheeps.

  • I bet those kids laughed about the midget when they got back on the bus

  • Seriously what's the big deal guys? I've heard parents make up worse lies when they didn't know how to answer a kids question at the zoo. Besides they told the kids the truth, and the kids all grinned their asses off. I think its a cute vid.

  • Ok, seriously, they did nothing wrong. You all are overreacting. Sure it'd be a disappointing, but they had some fun for a while. And how is it any worse than telling kids about Santa Clause? That lie lasts longer.

  • I don't know whats up with all of the negative comments. When I was younger we used to go on a bunch of field trips a year. This year my son's class will go on a total of 2.

I think it's a great idea, more companies need to step up and give back to the classrooms, especially brands that are present in the class, like Lunchables are for food etc.

  • I don't know how that's messed up. Its not like they got the shit scared out of em or anything.

  • Wow, thats so messed up to play with a kid's mind like that.

  • wtf lies and brain that will never be the same...i would be piss

  • Hate the idea of lying to children in a scientific environment. Hate the comments by obvious ad agency/lunchables stooges below.

  • this vid was ok,Thumbs up

  • Dumb.

  • that is so f***** up!!!! my hopes would have been shattered at the end of this had i been a part of this and F*** lunchables who only cares about profits, NOT kids going on field trips!!!!!

  • oh and shame on those asshole actors for selling out like that, cant act anyway!

  • It's disgusting to use children's open minds to promote unhealthy foods that will in the end make them fat and kill them. What a shame corporate food producers can trade on the purity of children like that.

  • That was so cool...until it turned into gross commercialism.

  • Aww come on. Lunchables!

  • @Neequu78 lol

  • Nothing opens a child's mind like a lunch full of phosphates and sodium. Yumm!!

  • Hilarious!!! Great Idea.

  • This is AWESOME! Very kind of you to support field trips for kids. Too many children are left behind for field trips because parents can't afford to send the kids so this is a fantastic, appreciated offer. KUDOS Lunchables!!!

  • thats sooooo cute!!!! :-) so sweet! !

  • Nice job jared!! :)

  • FAKE!!!!

  • awesome

  • Love it!

  • Oh you guys all take things too seriously!

  • I also thought it was cute until I found out that the kids were just being used as a marketing tool. Not cool.

  • wow not only do these kids get a chance at heart disease and cancer but they take jobs away from the union actors at SAG by doing a "surprise commercial"

  • lol, I think is this adorable!!

  • lol my class is even smarter than those and even my cuz neew theywer fake and shes in 1st gr

  • I doubt those kids really believed those were aliens.

  • ja ja ja

  • Very fun! I want to trick my kids too.

  • I'm not going to eat lunchables anymore! Why would you do that to some 5th graders? Then - oh yeah it's for a commercial; ridiculous

  • This is really cute.
