Just wanted to post an update to let you know Zachary is doing great. He completed his treatment ten months ago and is a happy and healthy soon to be 8 year old boy.
He's about to get systemic chemotherapy. The tape is used to hold down the needle that is used to access his mediport, which is surgically implanted subdermally in his chest.
I lost my sister Dec. 2, 2007 to this aweful disease . Seems such a shame we can send a man to the moon but, thousands die each year from some cancers . my sis was and still is my hero ! I miss her we were very close. I know she is now my gardian angel . Your son is in my prayers .
Please support the "Conquer Childhood Cancer Act" by writing to your representatives. In doing so you are honoring thousands of children, like my son, who are literally fighting for their lives. Childhood cancer survival rates must improve. One child lost is too many. Thank you.
@Starlight11282 he HAD leukemia. he completed his treatment over two and a half years ago.

He HAD leukemia. He completed 3.5 years of chemotherapy treatment and is doing great!

Zachary completed 3.5 years of chemotherapy treatment in January 09 and he is doing FANTASTICALLY GREAT!
