A strong, beautiful cover. This song is very hard to sing, both because of the melody (which demands quite a voice) and emotionally, because of the heartfelt lyrics. I'm glad you haven't been through an experience such as this song describes, yet you covered it wonderfully. Well done.

Here is one thing that I thought of and find it 2 be one of the best things an artist can do when covering a song in my humblest opinion of course :P You sing the song as it goes but not as Amy (a carbon copy that is) you sing it as yourself...You mentioned about what the song is about and you found it hard to find that emotion well I say that you have gone above and beyond that...In other words You hit right on the proverbial head ;)
