Interesting idea, but logistically unclear. I believe the true next generation in the charity genre is the novel social fundraising idea put forth by 3for5. Check them out. I'm guessing 3for5 is just as transparent and they have the added kicker of harnessing the power of the masses via the 3for5 movement (invite 3 friends to donate just 5 dollars). They will likely attract some attention in the contest.

No, this was an idea that came out of a brainstorm with some friends.

Could you give me the link of the other video? Is the transparancy also at the heart of their idea? In our idea you can see what you donate, when it arrives, who benefits. You can even interact with each other on a YouBridge Learning platform. This would be Open Sourced, where mentors from around the world could add own software.

YouBridge is thus not only about the hardware, but allows you to build a GLOBAL network!
