  • More promises, more "treaties " we'll see what happens- the proof will be in the pudding as they say. No hate here, just distrust from past TRUE history. Would be wonderful if it works, ( way overdue and about time ) just hoping it's not another " law" that goes unenforced or works against the people in the long run. ( P.S.-I am also a survivor of unpunished abuse )

  • Long overdue, and the first step of many in the right direction.

  • Thank you Obama,I am white but more than color,I am a human with feelings.I am proud of you today. The true Crater bless you.

  • next a ndn priseident!

  • @janbob73 whites one didnt do much good

  • check out tribal laws by Meridith Quinn

  • Obama is a real human being. The difference between dems and repubs.

  • laws exist in other areas ... but are slowly being adapted to fit into tribal communities nationwide - I think this proves there are loopholes that still exist in Federal country in dealing with tribes

  • Watch out Native Peoples Obama is going to rid us of our sovereignty, mark my words.

  • @sirbread1 Yes, he`s a Zionist Tool. Don`t be fooled by the Teleprompter reading Tool of the Govt and Pro Israel Lobby PUPPET and FRAUD known as Barry Soetoro.

  • Yous may have been violated yrs ago but today....that day you were voilating yourselfs n all those that have suffered for standing for our ways n following through our ways. The president saying that all these politicans worked so hard. It is not hard....they only have to let go of their strangle hold upon us all n release our gifts n ways from the Creator of all. The hard work if that's what he calls it was by all the old ones of all our ppls.

  • @OgiicheduEkwe Yes... I pray those naive natives didn't "Touch the Pen"... you did the work for them... and the worst is yet to come, when you acknowledge this puppet show as authority over Indian Country... May the Creator rescue you, rescue us all from total extermination... May Creator restore "real Indian Country" soon.... our ancestral values of peace and harmony once again dominate this continent...

  • @YishaiHiEagle I'd settle for restoring Real America. The America I left in 1980s is NOT the one I have returned to. People believe the Government should do everything for them, and are willing to trade in their--and everyone else's--right to make their own decisions!

Reid/Pelosi/Obama triumvirate are the worst example yet!

  • @YishaiHiEagle I never "acknowledged this puppet show as authority over Indian Country" n never will. Just know the truth n how it is n will be.

  • Reps from various tribes standing there in head dresses that wasn't of our ppls. Reps standing there feeling special cuz they were in the whitehouse n cuz they were there with Obama....how dare you....you are special cuz the spirits were working through you n cuz you were open to it n followed through....don't gift away truth.

  • This is all bullshit....an illusion....only thing some tribal ppls will get is some funds to have a few carboard boxes of dna sample collectors n some paper to make a office so the ppls can get caught up in makin paper policies n further loose what is true culture true ways of dealin n doing takin the ppls further away from the spirit.

  • The gov is not doing us any favors n they are still full of beans to pretend like they are so wonderful. n the ppls ourselves bigger fools yet to believe them when we know better all to well. Wait till someone is raped or murdered by a non ndn person on the reserve or off n the tribal police or warriors or aka our mens follow as grandmothers n old ones guide them to on dealing with such or the tribal courts n see how the u.s. gov won't be havin it.

  • Who do they think they are to "Gift" us rights that were orginally n still gifted to us n instructed to us from the Creator of all. They have no right to take away what was gifted n instructed to us from Creator of all n then act like they ...are great cuz they are gifting something....were is the recognizition that they took this from us in the 1st place.

  • As a native, First actions shall be to trace down the IP adress of those who dislike this video!

  • Ooh, I like this, I like it very much!!

  • lillanschuster I feel sorry for you, not all tribal people have money to move plus this is their home and where their family lives. You do a good job covering up your pain why let the person that hurt you get away with it? they will just keep doing it again and again.

  • @FP010782 Thank you but ive grown from what i have gone through... :) & The person who put me through all that has been sitting in prison for 5yrs now and has 5 more to do... He is paying for what hehas done. I work for my Tribe @ our Jail... I speak to groups of Women who go through Domestic Violence... Trying to help them because i have been there... & as many ppl know working for the tribe you dont get paid the big bucks im not rich but i give back. Be proud & Strong NOT WEAK

  • Wow amazing! How did this video get 13 dislikes?

  • I have to say this was an emotional moment and brave of her to speak. I felt her pain. Big hugs out to her & her family from our family.

  • Comment removed

  • Im sorry but i hate when indains try and cry and act choked up!! I hate when im at long house or shaker meeting and the old ppl act like they choke up crying. "Oh my ppl blah blah blah" While drunk! Then cant speak! COME ON!!! What indian isnt beaten. Serious dont make us look like weak ppl.. Sht happens... I have been through worst and so have many other young indian gals! & WE MOVE ON WE ARE NOT BOUND TO THE REZ... You can move away! I proudly work for my Tribal Dept.

  • @lillianschuster uhhh she was raped in fornt of her children, what is she supposed to do, laugh?

  • Comment removed

  • @KMELIZ21 i was raped in front of my Son HE WAS 4... I was sliced 13 times to add to that also... So bloody and raped in fornt of my Son... (Mine was worse) i work for the Tribal Jail here... So i dont make much money either but i still live near the rez not on.... I feel her pain but eh... Get over it... I Speak to enrolled members tryin to teach them that they can get away and live a strong healthy lives... It dont get through to most... Ive seen a lot of gals go to drugs which is sad....

  • even pirates do some good sometimes. Obama is called walking eagle by some tribes leaders. they say he is too full of shit to fly

  • you say that 'can't govern' but they sure are doing a fantastic job thus far. my only problem with them is their inability to NOT listen to the concerns of their opposition. why in the world would you try and work with conservatives when they reject their own ideas as soon as they realize that you agree with them.

  • I'm proud that we have a President that represents The People and not big business and conservative special interest groups. Where was the media when this took place? I didn't see this mentioned on MSNBC, CNN, or any of the local channels in my area.

  • why does the president have to use a different pen everytime?

  • @JUKIO01 he gives them out to several people when a bill is signed

  • can someone explain what exactly this act does? im not native american, but damn, i happy to see a president that cares about them

  • This is why voting is soo important. Everyone should vote for what they beilieve in, and I will vote for change I can believe in, whether big change or small change or long change or small change. As long it is change from the status quo.

    Obama 2012 All the way.

  • Thank you Obama...He will hopefully do more for us Native Americans, and get our third world reservations cleaned up.....My heart goes out to this woman, because she a a great friend of mine...Thanks Obama!

  • Not only does this address a great injustice, and make us aware of how terrible these crimes are, but listen to this president. Listen to his ability to intelligently, honestly understand the issue, to speak extemporaneously about the need for and aims of the new law. How fortunate we are to have such a person in charge of our country.

  • As an educator and veteran with family in law enforcement. I have seen first hand just how much "better" of a world has changed in recognition of a country that has had over 5 centuries to evolve, but still lives in the caves of segregation and indifference towards natives. There is no criticism here, only the facts. Perhaps it is you that live in fantasy land!

  • Just because bills are passed into law does not make law enforcement and the courts at all levels enforce such laws. It is up to the communities and jurisdictions to recognize and respect the law. Right now, a good portion of the nation does not even consider Obama nor Native Rights viable issues or causes with which to show legitimate concern or outright recognition. When the President releases Peltier from prison, then history will be made for Native Americans and the judicial system.

  • @ZelbeQahi thanks for all your help. we need more people in this world that sit on their butts and criticize the ones who are actually working and trying to change the world for the better. Thanks again for all your valiant efforts.

  • @dejahthoris the only ones sitting on their butts you should be thinking of are the thousands of natives across this continent, in Canada also, that sit in prisons sacrificing their lives as statistics and excessive sentencing placed on a people that make up less than 5% of the complete US population, but make up at least 20 to 30% of the prison populations. "Who are actually working and trying to change the world for the better" DEJAHTHORIS, surely not those that CAN make a change?

  • everything a politician does is for their benfit unless the people force them to do it. When will minorities see that the Democrats keep them asking for handouts? I am not a Republican or Democrat. I don't trust any party for the long haul but I have seen how the Democrats patronize minorities especially Blacks and see how they are still not thriving. Wake up and make all politicians do the will of the people not just when they want votes.

  • @kimlene05 I'd love to see your dumb ignorant face when Barack wins in 2012! ha ha

  • @kimlene05 Your a racist ignorant fool!

  • Shes been through hell and I am sorry for that. But something good has come out of it. Hopefully all women and their families will be given the time and care they need after such a serious assault. I hope she and her children will be okay!

  • Thank you my Dear President - Thank you for compassion and doing the right think! I am weeping as I watch this. Thank you Brethren for never giving up.

  • @kimlene05

It is not about money *&^%, money is nothing to some. Heritage, culture, songs, language are more important than money!! Not everyone needs money to be happy. You think everyone on the reservation is living in poverty, they are more rich than anyone will ever be, not with money but with culture!!

  • @kimlene05

1/4 cherokee.. wow!! be thankful!! we are just praising the signing of the paper, not the president, we take what we can. I don't give a crap who signs it, I am thankful for the things being done. If this had been done before, the girl may have been given justice and the guy wouldn't have raped and hurt two more WOMEN!!

  • @kimlene05

Good for you, but I would rather live where I can see and participate in cultural events almost every day. That is your choice where you choose to live, heck were in America.....

  • This is so heart felt, about time the bill was passed too. Best wishes to Lisa Marie lyotte (ta wacinya waste win) and others going through such horrors.

I can't believe 92 republicans voted against this bill, why would they do this regardless of what side of politics you stand on. Justice should always be for all.

  • Man! What an awesome guy. You know he must be re-elected.

  • Wopida to all who made this legislation a reality! For all the help we received from our relatives - on the other side as well. Lisa, what a powerful moment for all Native women and children, all who have been subjected to violent atrocities comminted against us... your spirit and voice are strong and courageous! Li li li li

  • @fancyshawln

Opps... my apologies to fancyshawin if you are out there. I just posted this comment and the site automatically attributed it to fancyshawin. Littlemoney54

  • @fancyshawln

YES... HER VOICE, (not the Malignant Narcisist Obama's) is what NDN Country needs to hear. I am so fed up with politicians patting themselves on the back while treating First Nations people like a doormat for their own selfish agendas... This example by Hussein sets the standard in this century for sure.... He really needs some psychological attention if this the way to make himself feel good.

  • Very heartfelt video and speeches. And important legislation which will surely improve lives of many. Great act of president Barack Obama. In Wisdom without borders :

    Buddha Dharma- OBF International

  • Maybe we can finally speed up the Check In time and have our Charts pulled and be seen by a Physician. If theres one avail? We really need to train our IHS staff to greet us and not just say" What do you want. "

  • Yes! :-D

  • This was a great moment, I can't believe that I didn't see it on the news, found it on Whitehouse you tube page that I subscribe to, if I hadn't looked through it I would of never known!

  • It's about time. How far back will the statute of limitations go on this?

  • osiyo,, am so full of gratitude that this bill was passed

  • God Bless President Obama! Our government is finally beginning to crawl out of the "dark age" by doing the right thing for this forgotten, mistreated, and cheated group of Americans.

Why did it have to take the first "black" President of this "great" nation to do it?

  • what the hell is with all the hate on this important issue. everyone is here debating over politics, taxes, racism, etc. Yea it just so happens that its a Democrat President that signed this Act. who cares.... Its what needed to be done. As a survivor, I am very happy to see this Act signed. No matter who signed it.

You all need to stop with this stupid bickering and be grateful that something good has happened.......

  • this a very touching...i am proud to see our people finally being recognized and Lisa with her msg and powerful speech . I am from Six Nations of the grand river territory ...i wish our priminister here in Canada would have the same care and compassion like President Obama...we to are going through many struggles in our territory with no accountability by our native Officers..lack of sexual abuse investigation and violent crimes. We are behind you my bro an sisters.

  • Is it wonderful to have a president with compassion

  • Any person of First Nations heritage who feels the need to have these starched shirt lawyers FROM CHICAGO defend them (instead of buckskin from our territories) has a major identity crisis ! Drop this fake and twisted reliance on politicians, Get back to our original trust in Creator and His Son, - Yeshua -THE the Greatest Blood Sacrifice, in human history , offered for our full and trustworthy restoration ! Jer 16:17-21

  • America loves you Mr. President!!!!

  • @kimlene05 What? They have their rich heritage to keep up!! It wasnt like the poor Black man who was forced out of Africa by white men, and pushed into slavery and abuse, and the Black man's heritage destroyed forever!!!!

  • President Obama is such a nice guy... He will be regarded as one of the top ten presidents ever!

  • @kimlene05 Natives have the right to keep the land they were thrown onto and use it to keep their culture and ways of life alive. They also deserve the right to have their own safety and laws set on their reservations to help punish those who're out to destroy it! 1/4 Cherokee pff you have nothing in your blood as far as I'm concerned because you don't seem to understand/appreciate Native Culture and/or what Native peoples have gone through to keep their culture alive.

  • @rabbitalmighty What did the Republicans do for Native Americans?

  • @kimlene05 can't even stick to the subject of what is being shown here. Go thump your book somewhere else. Give people a rest from your blabbing. We are trying to celebrate this signing and you got to throw your Sh!) around... go throw it somewhere else, to people who wanna listen to ur negativity.

  • Aren't we all one nation? and why all the pens? hope it's not disappearing ink in them.

  • yes we can!

    good words!

  • Barack Obama is the death! Holocaust is coming to America VERY SOON!

SEE BIBLE CODE LINKS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY CHANNEL!

  • Bravo!

  • I want one of those cool feather hat thingies. xD

  • This is why we all need to vote for Democrats in all elections, both local, and national!!!! Democrats care for, and want to help the poor and middle class, both Black and white!! Repubicans on the other hand only want to help rich wealthy white Americans!! If you believe in what repubicans are all about, then you are being duped!!!! President Obama is the only president that I ahve ever known who has tried to make good on their campaign promises!!!!

    Obama - 2012!!!!

  • @groundhog2008 This is no place for political grand standing. The Democrats as well as Republicans in the government at this time are corrupt. Point the finger at all of them especially this one who is president from stealing from all of us. They've lied, cheated, stole, and benefited off of us who pay the taxes.. He's as guilty as all in the government. People, if you want to vote, then vote for those who have common sense and actually work for the people.

  • @groundhog2008 That`s a good point. President Obama didn`t cancel his campaign promises after he was elected like the rest of the presidents did. He fulfilled them! I have nothing but love and respect for the man. That man will go down in history as one of the best presidents ever! He`s done so much already. Health care and financial reform are two examples of the great work that he has done!

  • @Yellyist damn right

  • @groundhog2008 LOL...wall street just had record profits from 23.7 trillion in bank bailouts and you think he loves the poor? LOL...LOL LOL LOL...that was good. My eyes are watering...ROFLMAO.

    Dude YOUR funny

  • @ChristiansMustLearn You only see what you want to see. Who's money do you think is in those banks, it is the middle class and poor who have a lot to loose if those banks had failed not just the wealthy, for gods sake get a proper all round education. You think with blinkers on! The bailouts saved the middle class and poor families from total loss!

  • @iLuvAkeys4ever if you want to act intelligent then please tell me something. Where does money come from? Until you know that you will never know just how badly the middle class and poor got RAAAAAAPPPEED!

YOU BEEN JACKED AND YOUR DEFENDING THE DUDES THAT JACKED YOU..LOL

  • @groundhog2008 I am not a fan of any political party, today. Keep in mind that Democrats want to help the middle class and poor through redistribution of wealth and use of force. What is so moral about a robbing of the earned and giving to the unearned? As a free individual, you have the choice to pursue your goals but gov't should have no involvement unless someone harms you or steals.

Obama thinks gov't can do more like regulate the economy. I find this immoral.

  • @groundhog2008 Though I will probably vote Obama again in 2012.. Those bastard republicans just loovvvveee shoving their immoral Christianity down our throats. They want theocracy, I tell you!

  • @MindProgDotCom You are smart! If people would just open their eyes and see what the repubican party is about, they would never for for one ever again!! Their policy platform is one of hate, divisiveness, homophobia, and racism!! They are only for the wealthy, white Americans!! Under a repubican administration, the poor and middle class will never get ahead!! If we will give Democrats a chance, we will thrive!! America needs years of constant Democrat leadership to weed out repub policies!!!!

  • What a great moment. We love you President Obama. Peace to our Native American brothers and sisters.

  • Wow, I just saw the documentary about the rapes on that reservation and it was horrifying.

I'm so pleased that this has happened for these women and the Native Americans.

  • @SModikoane I beleive that all Americans are pleased that this has happened to these people!!!!

  • God bless<3

  • Bout time. I wish Wilma Mankiller were still alive to see this.

  • @neshobe Hopefully, she did see it from wherever she is now.

  • This is a good thing that should have been done long ago. If you look up Vanguard's "Rape on the Reservation," it shows other stories of Lakota women suffering on the reservations. I imagine this is going on all over the country. I am Sicangu Lakota like Lisa Iyotte. I hope this will help our people.

  • @kimlene05 "reinventing yourselves..calling yourselves somthing different" lmfao. That sounds strangely familiar to a different group of disgraced idealogues I can think of.Very, very funny. Not to mention the calling your PRESUMED victory in the coming election a hurricane and then ridiculing riding "wave/fad riders".Double speak at it's best! btw the people of america did let it be known how they feel about this "progressive movement" that you fear so much, that's why Barack is president!

  • @kimlene05 shut the fuck up

  • @HeroDanny yeah seriously, you guys just reinvented yourselves after 2008!!!!!!!!!! STFU indeed

  • Mitakuye Oyasin

  • Thank you for your courage Ms. Iyotte. As for President Obama, I thought it was amazing how he comforted this woman throughout her speech, which was very emotional and heartrending. I wrote about it here - bit.ly / aiCwKe

  • I really wish President Obama could be President for the rest of his life......

He is a man of honor and compassion.....he will be our greatest leader

and will make changes that will live on long after we are all long gone from this life....GOD BLESS AMERICA AND PRESIDENT OBAMA!!

  • Native Americans despise al queda and the taliban.. .....its a known fact

  • @slLLyhumans That's true, but sadly too many illegals claim to be "natives" and the REAL natives don't refute them...Besides Mexico treating their natives hella worse than America does, the fates of the Indians and the Americans are linked: America collapses, and the "New Boss" will probably be nowhere near as generous...Or in the case of terrorists--NOT to be confused with Secularized Moslems!--they don't really differentiate AMONG the non-Moslems, we're all just targets...

  • To people who use Squaw to refer to American Indian women. If you want to not be called racist and still use the word then know it's proper native context.

Squaw is a Algonquian syllable that indicates female. It is not valid at all in non Algonquian languages. So referring to a Lakota Sioux woman that way is wrong. Like speaking Chinese to Saudi's.

Now among the Algonquian languages it 's status is not always bad. I.e. Powhatan Wahunseneca's female successors had the title Weroansqua.

  • "One who helps people throughout the Land" this man is doing the best he can, he is 10 out 10 in my book.

  • I'm glad I saw this. This is Justice

  • @kimlene05 Black Americans need to "Escape the plantation" mentality and stop allowing Democrats to "Farm their Votes!"

  • tho there's a lot of rape in the nation in all walks of life and race.

  • "One in three native american women will be raped in their lifetimes."

    Wow!

Woman is the nigger of the world.

  • What is the "Tribal Law and Order Act" about?

  • @applesweeter did u watch the video?

  • *applauds* Great law for the indiginous people of America

  • Michele Bachmann is the only Minnesotan to vote against the bill . A person

would think that she would be on board with this bill ! I call her "Custer Eyes"

because she just comes off as being "Psycho" !

  • The issues surrounding Aboriginals are complex. I urge you to empty your conditioning and let go of the fear so you can truly listen with your heart. Healing for both people happens when they listen and come to a consensus.

Thank-you Lisa. Thank-you President Obama. Thank-you for listening to your heart to promote humanitarian laws.

  • rape and murder DESERVE the death penalty!!

  • @blkhat81--Right on!

  • @blkhat81

They might deserve it but we shouldn't be killing people. It's just bad business.

  • Fighting for progessive legislation that actually helps people - what a concept!

  • SQUAW is not a racist term...in phoenix arizona they even have a highway named SQUAW PEAK HIGHWAY.

    stop being sensitive.

furthermore I see nothing wrong with drinking alittle whiskey to calm the nerves, it doesn't mean your alcholic.

I''d rather see this squaw drink alittle whiskey than take valium or other pills.

WTG barry o show compassion 4 the REDMAN we stole their land...Israel and USA are not legitimate countries. OBAMA is not an american but an ILLEGAL ALIEN KENYAN he is not an INVADER

  • @blkhat81 Trolltastic.

  • @fishhead06 what is so 'TROLLTASTIC' ?? what's wrong with trolling the holes??

VAL kilmer made a comment not too long ago about a bunch of drunk indians driving cars around santa fe, nm and nearly go lynched...it's a FACT they have more DUI's than any other state.

GROW UP and stop being a RED DOPER BABY.

  • @blkhat81 So, did you watch the video? Are you interested in the causes of social problems among indigenous Americans? Or are you intrested in reaffirming your narrow stereotypes?

  • @fishhead06 hey ,,,I am not proud to be an american when I know how we STOLE their land, i'm ashamed to be apart of the invasion.

    GOD BLESS these tribes!!

  • @blkhat81

I'm ashamed there's a guy on my twenty dollar bill who owned and sold slaves.

We are a work in progress.

    Be patient.

  • @blkhat81 White people think they have the privilege of determining what is racist or not. Your words are venomous and devoid of logic. Squaw is term coined by Europeans.

  • @blkhat81 - I'm FROM Arizona and no Indian I know (newsflash: they don't call themselves Native Americans; they call themselves Indians) finds the term 'squaw' acceptable.

Do your homework - this post makes you sound like an imbecile.

  • @camerondiaztwin I'am married to a 100% Najavo women and she has a great sense of humor for us white people who think we know something about Indians or even say we are one eighth of their blood. We the white people have done some pretty ugly things to them when in doubt go to Tuba city or surrounding areas

  • @blkhat81 Whoa, ease up on the conspiracy-flavored haterade.

  • @blkhat81

Depends on the way it is said. As a putdown it is a racist term. And as I said before, alcohol is not a one race problem, it is not picky, it will choose whatever race it wants to mess up.

  • compassion rules the day.

  • @kimlene05 you stupid fuck! you obviously don't have a clue about the issues, you have been watching fixed news to much.

  • Well, it's about time. I only hope that this is not more white man's lies (or black man, take your pick).

  • I love our President.

May God bless him and keep him in his tender mercy!

  • youtube . com/watch?v=JPm0Jq9bj98 Obama imagine what it would've been like if your mother would have had access to hemp oil tp reat her cancer, she may have survived to this day!

  • Whoops, I just realized he said it would strengthen laws against "drugs" - and the cure for cancer is still "scedule 1 narcotic" whoops!!! US Panent 6630507, google it

  • I mean it seriously, from the bottom of my heart, for medical reasons, cannabis can help treat cancer. If Obama knew what was best, he'd not only end the DEA raids in states where its legal, he'd stop raids on native american lands as well, entirely.

  • from someone of Native American heritage, thank you, Mr. President.

  • Give this squaw alittle whiskey to calm her nerves.

Sometimes I feel ashamed to call myself an american knowing how we invaded and stole their land.

israel and america are not legitimate countries.

thanks barry for being so supportive.

  • @blkhat81 - you feel ashamed? but yet you start out with your racist crap?

  • @blkhat81 squaw is a very very derogatory term, and Native Americans dont need any more alcohol-thank you, how about a a prayer to calm her nerves?

  • @MissMoxie78 Well although not being able to defend oneself is silly and not even trying to defend oneself is ever more silly. Thinking about situations as the such should be an important part in every women or men's lives as to what to do in rape situations and many many other important hazardous or harmful situations. Not fighting back would almost be like giving up your right to fight back even later in court or criminally. care about your life and learn shit to protect yourself or dont....

  • @kimlene05

    Lol..polls.

get that shit out of here,no one with half a brain should take them seriously.

  • @kimlene05 I agree, but you have no right to post that on this particular video. You show no intelligence or integrity. It is people like you that brand ALL Republicans as racist bigots. This woman has been through a hell you can never imagine, and this law would be signed by any Republican.

  • @RaiderHater729 , Sadly 92 republican congresspeople voted against it.

  • @kymayrose Are you serious? I stand corrected. Damn, well politicians are idiots. Guess it doesn't surprise me that much. Many people care more for those here ILLEGALLY than those that were here long before us.

  • @RaiderHater729 yes, itis true. Checking the voting records can be very enlightening - or infuriating - or both. You will understand why it seems that not much is getting done when one party keeps obstructing. Watch C-San - or Congress Matters.

  • sadly, 92 Republicans voted against this act.

  • I can hear all our people 'Lu-luu-en' all over the country! Aho President Obama!

  • As a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe im Very proud of Lisa for getting up there and telling her story i know that took a great deal of courage!!

  • @kimlene05 Yeah fuck him for helping anyone else besides white people right. People like you will go down a sinking ship screaming screw liberals. Amazing.

  • Wow. Gotta love this real-human-being president. <3

  • @Marielovespoems What about the Americans who have been denied redress against the horrible onslaught from Mexico?

The "real-human-being" President betrayed them, remember?

I am glad that the Indians can now protect themselves, but what about the mainstream Americans?

  • He can also fulfill the treaties that were done to the Indians in the past.

  • thank you for sharing your story. You shared a story so many of us have either heard of or been a victim of ourselves. Thank you for your courage.

Thank you Mr. Obama for signing this important legislation into law.
