@wolf14900 I tell you one good thing about the AK-74 round which is the 5.45x39 it is cheap at gunshows. At the gunshow you can pick up a can of 1080 rounds for $150. You can get a AK-74 for around $500 and this Golani as well so that is cheap so buy both. If SHTF you will have plenty of the AK-74 rounds stocked up because it is so cheap and the .223 will be everywhere because the police and military use it.
That thing is junk and you know it.The real Galil and the SA R4 are great weapons, but what you have is junk so keep that crappy leapers scope on it they are a perfect match.Good Luck
@AC130Gunship1 THEY ARE JUNK DUDE I SHOULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT A AK47 INSTEAD I FUCKED UP BUT MY SHOOTS JUST FINE NOW BUT MY FRIENDS DOES NOT. BUT ONE TIP CALM DOWN MOTHERFUCKER YOU SEEM TO MAD OVER STUPID BULLSHIT LIKE THIS OR YOU ARE JUST STUPID I DON'T WELL FUCK U ANYWAY AND I HOPE ONE DAY U CAN BE NICER TO PEOPLE AND NOT SUCH A FUCKING DICK. HAHAHAHA YOU ARE A FUCKING RETARD ANYWAY SO FUCK U VERY MUCH STUPID ASS RETARDED DICKSUCKER MOTHERFUCKER BITCHASS.
tapco makes a really good mag, for the galil golani they are very reasonabily priced, but you will have NO problems with them, I wish magpul made mags for the golani, but we can't have everything in the world can we. were would we put it. LOL I have a vid, on servicing your mags. check out my channel and take a look. it's for AR mag's but the process is the same.
Russian ammo tends to undergas rifles especially .223. The case doesn't expand to form a tight seal in the chamber. Myna experience with Russian .223 is it very light on recoil and tend to under pressured compared to American brass .223
Russian ammo produces more gas for the Rifle and full charges the gas system every round, brass cased ammo produces less gas and there for the rifle has a hard time kicking out ammo successfully, the ammo then bouces around inside the chamber and gets flipped around and stuck before ejecting.
Thank you sir fir the knowledge . I took my Golani to the desert in Nevada . No problems with the mags. Did have problems with failure to eject after like 500 rounds. Some brass ammo primer would not fire (2 or 3). It loves silver bear. All my peeps want this rifle as backups to our m4's. Can you post more info for the optics mount? I am leaning towards the Troy rail. The troy padded sling is a must.
can you describe to me the eject problem...was there any damage to the casings? again try loading a mag full for awhile and see if that cures it... im sure its nothing serious with firearms we spend more time searching for the cause of the problem than we do fixing it.. talk to you later
first question... when you shot the brass cased ammo was there any damage to the casings dents or dings? second i havnt heard of using ak springs in those mags but if in fact they did and you were having feeding problems and not ejecting problems the spring my be too stiff and is force feeding to hard... try leaving a mag filled with a full 35 rounds for a couple weeks then take it out and shoot it.. i have had similar issues with new bulg ak mags... good luck and good vid
