I really agree with you that these birds are happiest if they live in the nature. But one of the white bird(BaiWenNiao) was killed by another bird called HuangBoLao. The bad bird find the cages and come down to try to eat them. Unfortunately,one was killed when my mother come to the cages.The bad bird flied away at the moment.But the cute bird was dead.She was very sad.Well,She bought another one the same day.Birds should be couple,they need a pal after all.
these birds live in cages for thousands of generations. if you let them free, firstly they will try to come back to their cage, and if they wont find the way they will die. they are happy there and you are an idiot

5 years ago I had to play mom to a woodyp.. I raised him/her - flying free inside my 2 floor
studio. one day he scaped. (...) returned after 50 min.. or so.. (... among other stories..)
Agree those birds are cages only, and I sorry I felt angry.. maybe idiot, ok..
