  • Neal Schon is a great guitar player, awesome :)

  • fucken AWESOME VOICE and then some ... !!! Yuuuuuuuummmmy Paul and co ...!

  • What a fantastic voice and I love this song.

  • There is no doubt Paul Rodgers has a great voice. The best I have heard.

  • keep up the fight you believe to be right, and some day the sun will shine through

  • exactly....Paul Rodgers IS the voice of rock music,,,none comes close.....Sammy Hagar is right up there, although most would never admit, the dude's got natural pipes!..

  • Chuck Norris wants to be Paul Rodgers.....he's even tried to look like him....:o)

  • This song should have ben a number one hit loved it from the free days in the early 70's and still do. Resently saw them again Paul Rogers and the band still Kick ass,Thanks for the years of dedication to your craft!

  • Brilliant

  • Did you use pro tools on this, no, you musta had brains back then. What the hell did Fred Flinstone do for music. I will never ever forget this band.

  • Paul Rogers is a great musician, you always again happy to hear.

  • saw free in Bristol Uk many years ago SHIT HOT

  • So effortless. So perfect.

  • I agree - this Rockchick's been listening to him since the 70's and I can't think of anyone that's better. Just love his voice and those rich chords just seem to fall out of his mouth effortlessly. This is what he was born to do!

  • @rexforth I am so f***ing jealous of you man! You are one lucky dude!

  • Unfortunately a litle bit too fast

  • @anonymusum I'm no expert, but A) Bands usually play songs faster live, and B) Paul Rodgers wrote the song. So he can dictate how fast or slow it should go.

  • Slash Rules <3

  • Im clearly moved by how everyone appreciates the brilliance that is Paul Rogers.. I lived for him and am blessed by his music

  • I always thought this was a Bad Co. song. F@#kin kick ass!!!

  • Hes definately up there with all the very best vocalist in the rock world.

yes I grew up with Free and Bad Company and have always loved Paul Roger's sound.....................awsome singer with awsom bands.

    Nuff said!

  • Best Rock Vocalist of ALL time

  • yeah, rogers has always been a great rock singer. thanx for the music paul!.

  • it is the same guy....

  • His voice kind of sounds like the same guy from Bad Company, seriously . That was my fav "tape" ever back in the day..............

  • @tarheelforthedogs That is because he is from bad company...

  • He is not from Bad Company. Paul Rogers was the lead vocalist with Free. The clue is in the title: Paul Rogers - Free - Wishing Well

  • @KevinSullivan1, Correction Paul Rodgers was the vocalist for the band Free and Simon Kirke was the drummer and they both went on to form Bad Company. If you don't agree google it

  • two words - fuckin' epic!!

  • There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe Paul Rodgers and his music !!!

  • @rivernith i gree he is a wonderful rock singer ..i saw FREE in melbourme in 1972..they were great

  • This fantastic man is the only Guy that has mantained a great voice.Even Robert Plant and Roger Daltry couldn't get that same sound from their peak but Paul Rodgers goes on and on. Fabulous

  • I'm not a big Journey fan.... but Neal Schon has to be one of the last great classic rock guitarists, right up there with Slash and a handful of others. And Paul Rodgers - one of the most underrated rock vocalists ever. And - Wishing Well is one of the absolute best albums in the classic rock canon - Free's Heartbreaker - their last ditch attempt to keep it all together. Seriously - if you're a classic rock fan, go out and buy this right now, if you haven't already done so.

  • This Song was written for Paul Kossoff, Free Member and one of the Best Guitarrists EVER , PR wrote it in a Time wenn Koss was very massiv Drug addicted, the Band wanted to help him with this Song , but this try failed, Saidly Koss died only a few years later , and i think that erverytime PR sings this Song , he will think on Koss with tears in his eyes. R.I.P Koss

  • If plotthickens thinks Rodgers is is an "awful " he already IS deaf!, and yes, Marriot was great as well.

  • Great video and a great rendition of an amazing song from yes...THE BEST ROCK SINGER EVER!!!

  • the voice

  • every fucking music video is degraded to 240p resolution? FUCK YOUTUBE

  • @InnisInc bonjovi were still in nappies then

  • Apologies Neal.

  • Wow !! .Slash and Neil Schon Only the likes of Paul could get these guys to jam with him at once. Great post !

  • Great song but alewasys reminds me of the jim will fix it tune

  • fucking awful singer,

look at my profile for the future of music

  • @plotchickens Awful singer? Right. Checked out your profile. If that's the future of mucis, I hope to go deaf.

  • you will be deaf while we reap the benefits of our success

  • @plotchickens LMFAO. Okay, whatever. Good luck.

  • @daven58100 I hope you go deaf then.... this is the voice of the best soul/rock singer in history!!!!

  • @singersuegray Before you respond to people's comments, you should understand what they meant. My comment you are referring to was in response to one made by plotchickens where he said Rogers was an awful singer and his (plotchickens) was the future of music. I made the response of hoping to go deaf rather than listening to the music of plotchickens. Maybe you should check it out. You may like it, I don't know. Hope this helps clear it up.

  • @daven58100 please can you spell his name right..respect

  • @muirwebb Ok. You got me. I usually try to make sure my spelling is correct. My apologies.

  • @daven58100 only jokin wit you...just some people leave such lame comments

  • @plotchickens cool story bro

  • True rock classic....just awesome vocals

  • Neal or Slash?

No contest. Neal Schon is one of the most underrated guitarists in the history of rock music.

  • @PETERILEY07 He's all right. I like him better if he didn't overplay- as in needless guitar shreading.

  • @GOODY61 Slash is the worst culprit for needless overexuberant guitar playing.

  • @PETERILEY07 Schon is more likely guilty of this in the videos I have watched.

  • Neal Schon = Brilliant soaring soloist

    Slash= yawnn....

  • one of the best voices in rock & roll

  • he is hott!!

  • this is tame... i love free and bad company... this is 2 bland and level.. ss

  • Slash = fad

  • Love it!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • One hell of a version, it kicks ass!, and Paul is fantastic.

  • Great voice Rogers...

  • Remains my favourite voice!

  • Paul Rodgers may have been the front man for FREE but Paul Kossoff with

the guitar was the one to watch. As talented as Slash is...even he doesn't

    compare to Paul Kossoff.

  • wowza i love the sound of this mans voice....he truely is sex personified lol.....one of my all time favourite songs.....and as for slash.....LEDGEND hehehehe never ever ever get sick of hearing this song!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Always good to see comments made by free fans ,think they are real lovers of music .Been reading remarks on other videos about not likeing the video or musical snobery about when they were born .WHO GIVES A F... . listen to this mans voice ,truly a god of music .

  • Fantastic song!

  • The greatest rock singer in the world.

  • Cara muito bom o Slash ele é o segundo melhor guitarris do mundo! Na frente dele vem o Eric Clapton ele tambem é bom mas eu acho o Slash melhor!

  • my favourite Free song

  • What a great voice!

  • holy shit man!!! i thought slash was gonna kiss him.hahahaha!!!!

  • I saw Free live in Edinburgh at the empire many years ago now but they would still outshine any of todays bands AMAZING Paul still has superb voice and looks great.

  • great song, tis is played too fast, it needs to come down in tempo just a little bit !

  • fantastic

  • my names paul rodgers...! saweet!

  • What an amazing voice !!!! one of the great performers for sure.

  • All time favourite vocalist. Saw him live a couple of years ago. Brilliant!

  • i know why...its because the new music is shit! this rap crap took over! rap isant music! its some ignorant fool who talks trash on the mic with a fame electronic beat playing in the background! then they call it art loooool! anyway they dont make good music anymore man seriously! the rock nowa days is a joke! and the heavey metal is all screaming! you cant even understand what there sayin!...and the kids have no respect for no one! god bless america! we need you more than ever before!

  • loving the sound of the guitar

  • The voice is the same but the guitar... no one can take the place from Paul Kossoff.

He was the very best in the World.

  • @Andreagear4 Kossoff really did not play on the Wishing Well studio track due to his heavy drug use and poor physical condition. Only a few minor parts have Koss on them.

  • @GOODY61

  • @Andreagear4 Wich Von Eighore Comiesh sa fottot bueol deano jjelef

afft ckeepjkof . Do you agree ?

  • @GOODY61

No, please i understand the words you send to me.

  • In my opinion, that man is one of the best singers of all time. In terms of rock, he is possibly the best. Absolutely brilliant and the way his voice defies his age makes him one of my idols :)

  • @PETERILEY07 nothing better said.....voted best rock vocalist by his peers four years running in the 70's, Paul

Rodgers is the best......period. Free, Bad Co., The Firm....you name the music....I'll listen! He's thee best!

  • Favourite favourite - my all time favourite ... yeah!

  • great vocals total legend still looks the part

  • The greatest rock vocalist of all time, and I don't say that lightly. He's THE FUCKING BEST plain and simple!

  • @bcushing Nearly. There was a bloke called Steve Marriott who was a bit better.

  • @sixtiestele Everyone's entitled to an opinion but Rodgers is better IMHO.

  • "were gonna have a bit of a jam" yeah because rock gods like you guys just hang out all the time

  • wow, slash & paul rodgers. :O

    love this, its freakin awesome!

  • Fire!!!

  • This bloke sings like a motherfucker!!

    just the best

  • Saw Paul Rodgers Bad Co. last night in Manchester dissappointed they didn`t play this :(

  • Ohhhhh, you should have seen him live in 1974. Hot! But it is his voice that has kept me listening to him for more than 40 years now, clear back to the early days of Free. Paul Rodgers is the best rock-and-blues singer. Period.

  • Well, it´s a long time ago. But this is damn good! The voice of Paul Rodgers is still great!

  • Очень круто!!! :)

    Long Live English Rock! =)))

  • thanks for putting this on.. still a classic and one of the best rock tunes around. i'm a queen fane, when he joined brian and roger, it was my birthday. 3 of my rock hero's together on one album..i'm alright now, baby, i'm alright now.....

  • woh woh ah woh oh yeah wishing well

  • paul may be the greatest singer ever....reply rock on

  • Definetly one of the greatest!

  • Thank You:-))

  • This is one of those songs that is so awesome it makes you sad just cause you know you're going to have to stop listening to it :')

  • I hear you brother- it makes me sad too.

For a song to create such emotion, it's

got to be a great one.

    Long live Paul Rogers!

  • I've just listened the Savatage cover of this song and it's quite good.

  • He has come a long way since you could see him at the Argus Butterfly in Peterlee for a pund.

  • what a ridiculous comment...paul does what paul does...what is with you guys..trying to hard my ass...thats how he performs-he is into it....

  • Paul kicks a** on this song. It's his song and no one can touch him on this. Go away.

  • sorry...but paul doesnt have to try!!!....hes the most natural singer in the word, effortless and relaxed, trying doesnt come into it :-) watch some of the old free stuff, even at age 19 he was singing effortlessly

  • naaaaaaaaaaaa hes great

  • slash rules

  • during all the song , no vews on the bass player .....sad...

  • The ease and power of Mr Rodgers, Paul you can wish me well any time ya like.

  • he's still awesome!

  • What is this version from?

  • I had the single. On of the smashing hits at our school parties.

Can`t get any better than this. Still awesome voice.

  • Just awesome , I sure wished I was there in person.

  • Best version! That Schon solo is sweeeeeeet.

  • @InnisInc

I'M SORRY, MY FRIEND InnisInc, BUT I'M AFRAID YOU'RE MISTAKEN. IN ADDITION, THIS DOES NOT IN ANY WAY SOUND LIKE BON JOVI. IT IS PURELY PAUL 'THE VOICE' RODGERS.

    FAREWELL

  • theres only one voice mr steve perry and thats what jon bon jovi called him

  • @TheIncredibleDrAss sure but you can tell where Bon Jovi steal their tricks from by listening to free and Bad Company :)

  • Nice version...loved it \m/

  • Slash doesnt seem to have an identity in his playing .. maybe he should put the hat back on .

  • Really?

Well i disagree the bend near the 3 minute mark is very Slash, as are the the series of bends & overbends at the finale of the song.

  • SIMON kirke ( drums) DOESN'T look a day older than he did in 1972 WOW . Oh and paul Rodgers ... he does not have a wrong note in his body .

  • this is song is one of free's best along with allright now!

  • if u dont like it turn it off.. jeez.. some people actually enjoy listening to real music...go away...

  • one word... raw fucking talent!!!!!

  • That's 3

  • I'm praying he sings this at Hammersmith next month.

  • he did do this last night, was he not well still sounded fab, but something was not right, did not like the booing but people around me said after waiting till nearly 8-45 then going off 9-50 was not good, only one on core !!! did not like Apollo that much seen him 100 places better, roll on next April love ya paul xxx

  • I didn't go last night, have a heavy cold. Did he only play for an hour and five minutes?

  • why april...is he planning another concert in england, couldnt manage to get to the apollo unfortunatly!!

  • Amazing! This guy still has a great voice after 30 years in rockn roll. A legend!!!!

  • @shortofalength Actually it was 40 years in 2008. I agree with your opinion, I believe he is actually better now than he ever was.

  • Free are still Alive.

  • how can one man still be so hot after all these years? he looks better now than he did 20yrs ago....and his voice is still just as amazing , effortless, though i do find this performance a bit without his usual "feeling", a bit stilted.

  • @Pussycatfeathers have you ever seen a rocker who used a lot of drugs, drinking, partying...I think he is aware of the dangers and never used them..I could be wrong.

  • @Pussycatfeathers it doesnt get better than free's version

  • Agreed on the voice part. Although his wailing aint that good tbh

  • No doubt why is known as the voice.

  • @japhda xcuse me i think youll find only one person in the world is known as the voice and in the words of jon bonjovi he be mr steven perry of journey, look it up its true

  • This man is to be respected...

    Would yoa say different?

  • Not many singers get better with age - Paul is the exception! Absolutely amazing voice and still hot!

  • Shit, you know that good times are a comin' when Paul Rodgers, Slash and Neal Schon get together!!!

  • Hello There!

IT AMAZES ME THAT THIS MAN HAS A HEAVENLY VOICE AND IS PAID MILLIONS FOR IT!!!!!

  • Amazing!!! Thanks for sharing.

  • The voice on Paul Rogers man, wow. He definitely still got it

  • he's not called "the voice" for nothing !!

  • The Voice ! wot an amazing song
