  • 'as a child', yes that is what meek means. It means with the receptivity that a child has to hearing instruction, believing the instruction and being transformed to desiring to fulfill that instruction. It means dependancy much as how a child depends on its parents.

    Meekness has more to do particularly with not so much the acceptation of instruction; the humility involved, but more than this, the relationship the meek person has with the other. The desire for relinquishing self.

  • Does to be meek mean to be as a child?
