yeah, there is an elegance to road, but after having done cx now and nearly doing THIS fall (not nearly as fast!), i think 'cross is--in the short time and variables of the race--the equivalent of a fusion of rugby and mountain biking. i've had more crashes and bang ups training and racing cx than i ever did mtbiking. i love it. mtbiking and road cycling are now used in service of cyclocross! :)

my favourite types of cycling:
1. road
2. cross
3. MTB (but only uphill, downhill is too dangerous!)
- unfortuntely there are not track cycling facilities around here... I´d like to try it sometime.
