I've never understood why, but they actually dubbed TB2 before dubbing Tekkaman Blade into Teknoman. Seems really, really stupid to translate a sequel when the original series hadn't been translated yet...but that explains why they didn't use Barbara Goodson and David Thomas for Star and Blade. Really, really, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bad decision to go with the Demita's...they really, really, really DON'T SUIT the characters. They're not even 30 but they sound so friggin' old!!!!! Just wrong, WRONG!
Eh, Blade didn't sound that bad in TB II. But then, he really didn't have that many speaking roles.
Aki however (She was called Aki in the TBII dub also) sounded HORRIBLE. At least when she Tekset. She had an authoritive tone any other time, but once she Tekset...it went downhill.
Yes I Argee With You On That One. This is The English Version Of Tekkaman Blade II But Wished They Had Choosen A Diffrent Voice Actress For Aki. Thanks For You Comment.

That is because Aki(Star in the Dub) never had a Tekkaman name.

Ha ha ha your sure right. And to make it worse Julia Demita added her voice for Tekkaman dead as well. And she sounds like her voice is dying.
ut i still liked the OVA its great. Love the transformations though. ^_^

Barbara Goodson was the voice of Aki (aka Star) in Teknoman. She would have made a better voice.
