This is a top notch cover, the highest rating a cover can get, but Ride The Lightning is an album that NO BAND can cover or play as good, and have the energy that it has on the recorded album. Not even Metallica themselves can do it. Ride The lightning is one album that no one fucks with. It owns all other thrash bands and most other thrash records.

@dran219 What about them? Kreator is the best band out of the Tuetonic Thrash bands. Warbringer is alright, never a fan myself. Ride The Lightning influenced every badn after 1984, Metallica aside from the other metal acts is about the biggest influence of them all. Old Metallica kicks anyones ass, and i mean anyones ass. Kill'Em All, Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets are in the Top 10 Best Thrash Albums of all time, and Kreator and Testament, Megadeth and Exodus is also in there.

Normaly I wan't metal to be tight and flawless in addition to fast, technical and heavy. This, then, is tighter than a virgins c***. Lars is usually not that tight, to say the least, and his dubble bass is pretty lousy at best. Funny thing is, that because this is played so perfectly, it becomes rather boring.
