I saw some episodes of Raw Toonage many, many years ago on Toon Disney. I disliked the show. I could see why it was cancelled after just one little season (I don't know why Bonkers was given his own show. When I was little, I couldn't stand it). However, this Badly Animated Man bit from one episode has stayed in my mind ever since. It is very well-done, and I think you really have to be an animation fan to understand and appreciate it. You can tell that the writers really had fun.

Although Bonkers arose from an attempt to make a Who Framed Roger Rabbit series that didnt work out.

But you can see the concept similarities between Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Bonkers.

That was a thing of beauty. I can't help but think that another studio could have made the satire even better, but it's still mighty clever. I loved the veiled shot at Hammerman toward the end... he was the only cartoon character who was even more badly animated than Badly Animated Man!

Raw Toonage was basically a Disney CBS Saturday morning show that had Bonkers and Marsupilami shorts with some other clips thrown in, so yes, it was done by the same people as Bonkers. Bonkers got his own show a year later with full length cartoons, as did Marsupiliami if I remember correctly. I gave up on the Disney afternoon by this time after Goof Troop started.
