Autograph was the opening act for Bryan Adams @ KS Coliseum April '85. The original not that new tin can downtown. I remember this band tearin' some serious stage... The drummer had belts of ammo draped over his kit!

The solo DID win, I believe, Guitar (World?) magazine's solo of the year. And the band toured with VH on its 1984 tour, yeah. Shame Ed was a wank to Steve, not allowing him to do any tapping stuff, as it was "his thing". Unfortunately, Lynch lost a lot of respect for Edward during that run. But Eddie's always struck me as being non-self-assured, if you catch my drift. Always feeling threatened (some of this warranted, mind you).

I thought this was the coolest video I'd ever seen when i was a kid. Still one of my all-time favourite videos till now. Love how they match the girls to reflect each guy.
