I live in Washington State (Right above California) and as a family we go to Disneyland every year. We already went this year, but it already feels like a lifetime since I've been to Disneyland! To make it worse, we aren't going in 2012 because we want to wait until Disney's California Adventures is completely done with the big remodeling job. Go on a weekday when the kids are back in school. Tuesday is really the best day. February, End of September, and the first week after Thanksgiving are ideal times of the year. If you must go on a weekend. Mother's Day, Father's Day and Superbowl Sunday are the times to go.

My dad told my sister and I, when we were children, that he would take us to Disneyland (we live in Denmark, so it's a long travel) My mom told us not to get our hopes up, as he would only disappoint. In 2009 he won some kind of lottery, and we (my sister, me, him and his girlfriend) went to USA and Disneyland!

@Phersephoie Very big difference. The one in Paris is tiny. Although compared to disneyworld this is tiny too. But the 2 in America are much better than Paris, Tokyo, or Hong Kong. I suppose cause these lands were built up when Walt Disney bought them.

@vmont321 I've gotten on the ride lots of times in 20 minutes or less. It just depends how busy it is, or if you get a fastpass. I've never seen a 2 hour line for it. I've never even seen a 1 hour line.
