the testing is a joke...i dont care who is caught on any given day, i care about the ones who do it and are not caught...im not takin anything away from him...he has a great swing and can do it all, but if ur nieve enough to think he gets bigger during the season by swingin a bat without lifting...ur wrong...i know personally 20 players who i have actually seen use anabolic steroids, play and lift, and they for the most part are not as big as pujols

it's not his fault the sportswriters can't come up with consistent requirements for the MVP.
frankly, the sportswriters owed him this award, for when they gave MVP to Bonds (a grade-A asshole), even though the Cards made the postseason, and the Giants didn't.

i agree...but there were quite a few extremely upset cardinals fans, given all the times albert has (in our eyes) been denied the MVP because of the inconsistencies used by the writers association.
look at the facts on this:
1998: Sosa beat McGwire (b/c the cubs went to the playoffs)
2004: Bonds beat Pujols (but giants didn't make the playoffs)
and so on...really frustrating, when it seems like the writers seem to try to avoid giving your teams best player an award they've earned...
