In KH, banks don't lend people to buy property, so all the money people made they put into the property investment till 2008. During 2005-2008, those smart investors in property making a lot of money with their smart moves, and those failure, mostly farmers, are really getting poor.

I think every country around the world always have some kind of corruption, even in the U.S., France or Canada. I think Cambodia is getting better and richer. Just take a minute and think about it. Cambodia just got out from civil war and Vietnam occupation. I think it is doing alots better than Mexico, or some African countries that never faced the violent or turburlent past.
P.S. I would like to see more efforts from Cambodia's gov't. I love Cambodia....
