  • It's so interesting, some of the lyrics really sound just like the English version.

  • I'm surprised that Hitler wasn't photoshopped in here

  • @silverrosedragon18

    German people don't like Hitler!!!!

why do you say that ???

AND this movie wasn't even made by a german!

    Henry Selick is AMERICAN!!!

why should anyone photoshopped h. in there??

  • @silverrosedragon18 You are a racist.

  • @Kature56 What, you wanna hook up with someone? XD

Well, that's a wierd way of doing so XD

  • wunderbar

  • Ameiiiiiiii o video :This is halloween!!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • Spot on. Everything rhymed perfectly.

  • @Cupstakindude101 i think it goes " i am the one hiding under your bed, teeth ground sharp and eyes glowing red"

  • @zulok1337

Actually, it's direct translation is the other way around. He says his eyes are red, and his teeth are sharp.

But the general message gets across xD

  • @KoreanoOoEsKIMo yeah it's correct either way but it does sound better if you word it differently

  • @tollesTischbein

"...du hast gar keine Freunde...niemand mag dich"

  • The dude under the stairs sound like the gut from Rammstien

  • Its make me Remember to read on my German....

  • This was spectacular.

  • The start of the mmusic look like some kind of mix of Russian and Austrian Classical music.

  • 2:04 "in Berlin"? what?

  • @shinegrove The whole line is "Whether in Vienna or in Berlin. Nothing is more beautiful than Halloween."

  • I do not speak German but surpisingly I understood half of that song.

  • @XenonMan1 Yeah, I'm lerning German and I'm always like: Hey that sounds exacly like english!

  • @MarkiyC

well the reason it sounds like English (which you might know) is that the english language is based off the germanic language with some greek and latin.

  • danejenjuiyxd675 XDD

  • I'm surprised they actually managed to keep it very close to the original lyrics, almost the whole song is a direct translation from the English.

  • Dieser Song ist genial in dieser Sprache! Fast besser als die italienische

  • 1:21 "Suck some butt" O++++o ?

  • @OTheFreakO

ich denke schon das rar richtig ist!

    lg

  • think i still like the russian version best. this is deff close though

  • DICH!

  • Oder in berlin? Wtf?

  • @ummhmmlies I think that bit translates to 'In Vienna or in Berlin, none is prettier than Halloween' Though I wonder why they say that?

  • my german teacher played this in class :3

  • @akatsukifan121 then that must be a good teacher.

  • just thought i should say this... when you put "Jetzt geht's rund" into a translator, you'll get something like "patrol", when the actual translation is something like "now it begins" (there is no exact translation)

  • It is kinda scary in German! hahaha

    Sehr,sehr, seeehr viel gruseliger xD

  • Whatever language it is, I always can't help smiling when Jack appears on his regal straw llama with the Halloweentown sign. <3

  • XD It's funny, I'm from Germany and I like this song, but much better is the original english one :D

  • i have no idea what there saying but ty god i memorized the english version btw awesome song!!

  • danke schoen

  • I liked this version :)

  • Its "Hier in Halloween" without this '

;D German and English Version are the best !

  • Dodam to do ulubionych, bo brzmi nieco mroczniej od innych wersji :D

(i am a native speaker of German)

  • this one is my fav from all the diffrent language

  • UOOO!! Great version!! .)

    From Spain

  • I love this verison,french,english,and japanese!

  • Danke! :)

  • This song is awesome in every language I've heard it in.

  • hahah love it

  • ****clapping lol****

  • I'm so hooked on this version XD They did a really good job taking the English and making it German. I, who speaks no German at all, can tell certain phrases XD

  • Wonderful video!! I could barely understand a word of it in German, but it was enchanting to listen to and compare the singing with the words on the screen. Torchwood001, thanks for posting this!

  • :)!!!!!!

  • Ich bin alcoholiker.

  • Deutsch rockzZ.

  • Das Monster unter dem Bett hat Ärger Probleme.

  • you did a good job :D

just: it's not "weeee", but "Huiiiii" ^^

  • í prefer the english version of this song but i finally understand what is sung there without reading the lyrics xD

  • Ob in Wien oder in Berlin! Deutschsprachig feiern Halloween!

  • Really similar to the English version.

  • Wow! This is really good in german!

  • fits perfectly because german has a very angry sounding vocabulary :]. Das lied ist ausgezeichnet!!

  • gefletscht sounded like nigger flat, .46

  • German version still has my favorite Mayor. He sounds so cool.

  • french et german

ich habe spinnen in den haaren.

  • For some reason, German fits this song really well. 5/5

  • I like the German version because the lyrics stay really close to the english version and it's not always the case. (in French for example)

  • shame u removed the rating ohwell ill just have to state my rating: 5/5!

  • mein gott da sinfd n haufren fehler drin

  • in deinem satz? jap! ^^

  • this is neat, i know other german songs, and this is really neat... i know a few words, but only a few... *faved* i want to learn this *german* i might start next year... again, really neat...

  • I LIEBE DEUTSCH. OMG the best song!

  • A few of the foreign ones are in different keys

    it's so weird

    D: I mean the intro D:

  • i really want to learn german, but the only foreign languages my school teaches us is spanish and manarin chinese. :(

  • Take some courses in college. I'm doing that now. It's really a fun language to learn.

On the video, though, I think I almost prefer the German version to the English one. Despite how rough people make out German to be, it is a very lyrical language.

  • Seriously, this song rocks! XD

I found two possible mistake with the lyrics―the second line should probably say "unheilich" rather than "unheiilch", and the third line is missing a syllable that sounds kind of like "ger" in "Hier bei uns wird nur [ger] schrien."

  • actually it's "unheimlich" n "geschrien" ^^

  • actually it is "unheimlich" which means scary, sinister or wierdly, but in this sentense it makes more sense to be translated with "we REALLY like to hear kids scream here". "unheilich" does not exist, but "unheilig" does, which would mean "unholy" - but that is another story ^^

  • Comment removed

  • @nameistmiregal

If you combined this with Doom like someone did with the Marilin Manson version of this song then 'unholy' would be a perfect fit!

  • I agree, I love the sound of German. Since I started when I was eleven I hardly know any of these words since we just learn stuff to say on holiday. D:

  • the monsters under the bed and stairs sound like hitler

  • Hey check out mine. I think mine's more accurate to be honest. I'm Singaporean lol. Mine has English and German subtitles(English is translation of the German). You put schrien instead of geschrien in one part. You cannot actually here them say hier at the kinder ho(..)ren wir unheimlich(you spelt this wrong) gern schrein. There's other stuff as well.

    Sorry if I sound arrogant.

Hey so check out mine and rate(please honestly rate and not a one merely because of this comment) and comment!

  • "mines more accurate" very pompus.

  • dude, you're asian... who ever did the translation was german... it's their own language... i think they should know their language better than you know theirs...

  • the person who uploaded this video is english^^..just saying :)

  • Ich habe dein Halloween nicht gefunden! Schick mir das, bitte! Danke.

  • i cant sing the witch part

  • i've only memorized to wear the vampies start singing their solo...

    haha

  • have you the full movie in german?

  • noo Sozz

  • das halloween haste falsch geschrieben. nix gegen dich

  • danke =D

  • macht nix. deutsch is eine schwierige sprache^^. aber ansonsten tolle arbeit

  • Stimmt!

  • i love who ever made this i love them i use to live in germany...XD lol

  • woooah! that's amazing tbh

  • awsome im trying to memarize it

  • This is totally awesome!!!

  • Cool!
