Jesus man, what kind of hardware do you pack to get space warps working in your sims without near-instant out-of-RAM crashes?

For me, almost as soon as a space warp is involved, insta-crash. RAM gone.

My system is a little dated now, q6600 quad core, 6gigs of ram, looots of HD space. I built this box almost 2 years ago now

Well the six gigs might explain it. I've got 2, DDR1.

Upgrading my PC to 8 gigs of DDR2 though. Glad to know it'll be enough.
