yep this is real country-western music. from the heart and bitterly truthful. He was in my hometown a few years back doing a concert and him and his band went to the bar the night b4 for some beers. Everyone left them alone and he went dancing and some gals pushed him on stage. He was gracious enough and respectful enough to ask the bands permission to sing rather than being egotistical. Alotta respect for the guy. Just a good ol' boy imo.
