hugster, Mccain is on record during the Bush years speaking out against Bush's tax hikes for the wealthy, the same tax hikes Obama is opposing. MCCain opposed Bush because he thought the tax hikes were unfair to the middle class and unwise economically. Now he calls Obama a socialist for taking the same position. Google "Obama was McCain a socialist?" Mccain is just trying to get elected by the same people who elected Bush. I respected him before this campaign. Never will again.

Under McCain's tax plan, he will be giving 100% of people a tax cut. The more you make, the more you save. When a business (big or small) saves more money, the faster it could expand. When a business grows, so do jobs and therefore, more people will be working. The more people that work, the more taxes will be going towards the government. Also, more people that work, get more money to spend on products from many other businesses! Tax cutting businesses is where economic growth is. Vote McCain!

Unless we get a conservative CONGRESS like the one that passed that budget, it won't. Congress writes the budget for those of you who don't know (except the current Congress which just passed that job off to the next Congress, Hooray for Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid). So for fiscal year 2009 which started Oct. 1, 2008 we have no budget (so no deficit or surplus currently). Aren't the Liberals great at getting work done on time??

Which States have tax policies similar to his proposal and which have tax policies similar to McCain's proposal? Which states have the highest unemployment and which states have the lowest unemployment (dispite migration artificially lowering the highs and raising the lows)?
