well, honestly, the songs used in the original, ESPECIALLY "As Tears Go By" by The Rolling Stones fit better....... I mean, kudos on the attempt, but they did a good enough job on the episode, you didn't have to give it a song-over..... my opinion....

At the end, House asks an explanation for Cuddy's strange behavior. A sentence of her hits him: apparently she's mad at him because he insulted her last night, which he did, but she finally aggred to help him, leading to the night they spent together. That's what house remembers. But it appears that Cuddy doesn't know what he's talking about when he talk about the rest of this night.

As a proof, House want to take off his pocket the lipstick . But he realize that he's holding... a vicodin box.

All right, here's your summary: the last episode ended by House sleeping with Cuddy after she helped him detoxify himself from Vicodin.

During this episode, whitout explicitly talking about this night, House and Cuddy have trubles to stay arround eachother. Cuddy even ask him to just consider her like his Boss. During this episode House plays with the lipstick Cuddy forgot at his place.

Here's a summary, the other one was wrong: House insulted Cuddy at her office, after saying he quit. Then he hallucinated that he asked her to help him detox and get off vicodine. The rest of the hallucination was that he slept with her and woke up and found her lipstick in his bathroom. Throughout the day, he carried the lipstick around. Then, he tries to make her angry, so she'll come true to him about her feelings. The way he makes her angry is by shouting to the whole clinic,

"I HAD SEX WITH LISA CUDDY." She gets pissed and tells him he's fired, then goes back to her office. He goes to her office and she's sitting there crying. He says she's over-reacting from last night (he was talking about the sex), she said yes, and that he had insulted her before and this was just another one of those times. He didn't understand because he still thought he asked her for help and then they had sex.

Then, he takes the lipstick out of his pocket, and it's his vicodine bottle.. Not the lipstick. Immediately, he realizes it was all a hallucination. Cuddy wasn't with him, helping him detox, because he insulted her and she walked out. She didn't go to his house, he was home alone with the vicodine. After he realized all this, Cut-throat Bitch (Amber) appears beside him and said "So this is the story you made up of who you are.. It's nice." and Cutner (who committed suicide) says

"Too bad it isn't true." House then confides in Cuddy and tells her he's not okay, after she asked if he was. He was then taken to Wilson's office. The ending scene switches between Chase & Cameron's wedding (where everyone's at but House & Wilson), to Wilson driving House to a building. House & Wilson say goodbye, then House goes to the building. Finally, the camera zooms out, revealing that House got checked into a Psychiatric Hospital (almost like an Insane Asylum).. Sorry it's long.

I remember in an interview "house" saying that concerning his character there is only too options..either jumps or steps back, he cant hang on the percepice for too long..

but this isnt by far the closure i was expecting ..

He is not mad he was hallucinating from the vicodin. Made up this whole story about detoxing and having sex with Cuddy but then she helped him realise what really had happened.
