CoPilot Live 8 on the HTC HD2

I bought the very first Copilot software in the late 90’s at $1000 each ( I bought 2) I should have realized back then what an unstable, unreliable poorly written program it was. There is no after sales service unless to fight them at the highest level and threaten them with legal action. I would later buy the $59 iphone software after I was assure all bugs were fixed, & yet nothing was fixed at all. EVERY TIME I need this app, it fails me. Every time!, DO NOT BUY IT. Anything else but not this.

i got this copilot on my HD2 too but when i launch copilot it shows me diffrent countrys to choose from (language) but when i click 'continue' i hear a bleep sound but nothing happens and cant continue?

Another free alternative for Voice Turn by Turn navigation is Bing but its only gave you 2D map still it is very good. I just brought this Copilot Live 8 because of the price drop to $35 so it doesn't matter if it lack some functionality.

I have a HD HTC 2. I found a awesome FREE GPS that does turn-by-turn voice direction, shows local movie times, restaurants, and news. It is all free. I recommend on checking this app out.

I have a unlocked HD2 from outside the USA, If I'm going to Miami with vacation what do I need? which software? do i have to pay or download something(software, map) or the phone has a free gps software already installed? (I have no plan when going to miami, no internet on the phone..nothing only roaming)

@issamworld Does the HD2 have a stand alone internal GPS reciever? I know it has AGPS but did not know it would recieve satelites without connecting to your phone provider?.

@Macinabit Since the HTC Touch, every HTC afterward comes standard with an built-in GPS. Like Garmin Mobile, CoPilot utilizes the integrated GPS so no internet connectivity is required. In fact, the phone does not even have to be activated for CoPilot to work. It can be used as a standalone GPS. However, the Live Services does require internet connection, if you want to use thaqt feature.

Nice video. Finally a demo to show that making fullscreen gps experience in landscape mode is possible. Another convincing for coilot 8 over TomTom 7 on the HD2! Is it possible to play music and use copilot simultaneously? What about GPS and calls?
