  • @BazBdaz Hey Baz, I posted same idea on other version of this - an I did it before I saw this post - I emailed 2012 about the idea with a link to this tune and got some corporate response about them not being able to negotiate ideas like this - lightweights!

  • @knobber

In other words, "we don't want any black music near our olympics, thank you. So knob off!!!"

  • This is lovely juvely cool British funky tune which gives you a feel of what has been good about London for the past 40 years. Come walk with me by the Thames on a fresh Saturday morning !

  • I am a Tooting Born Londoner who has been living in Ireland for 12 Years and who rarely gets home. I just wanted to listen to a great side from a great Brit funk band. However once I saw the Balham platform sign I was gone. talk about emotional wreck.

Anyway got that of my chest.

    Thanks for the video.

  • Oh My! That almost brought a tear to my eye! That brought back soooo many memories of my 80's London days. Very nicely put together. Thanks! I'm now in a Radio London daze!

  • What memories..Saw LOTW in concert maybe 3 times..What talent, what music...Miss U guys and the music

  • Boy oh boy - those were the days !!!!

Only got to see LOTW in concert once, but still just about the best darn gig I ever went to. Now to go and get my old vinyls out to play again....

Many thanks for bringing back all the London memeories - I moved away from the smoke over 20 years ago, but now I feel right back there, or perhaps I just wish I was !??

  • They were great days where everything was word of mouth and pirate stations. Lotw had limited success, but today they would have been huge!

  • Heeeeey forget dodgy video and chill to the music DUDES!!

  • brought big smiles to face, remembering friday nights at the "Lycum", greg edwards and dear beparted friends.

  • Saw a few of the remaining members in Catford supporting Alexander O'Neal last year, very talented bunch and should have had more mainstreem hits. This is one of those tunes that take you to that special time that only those who knew the soul/fusion scene can truly remember.

  • The Brotherhood made a Hip Hop update of this called "Dungeon Town" in the mid nineties.
