This is a team that started being very good 4 years ago. Think about how long the top teams have been at the top. We will have to wait before Oregon pulls top recruiting classes and they make the BCS enjoying the fruits of those recruitments.

1. Cliff Harris being stupid, because he was our best corner.
2. Darron Thomas isnt running enough, he was much more mobile last year and it gave a much better dimension to the offense.

It wouldn't hurt to have some good out of conference wins at the start of the year. Considering major out of conference losses to Big10 (Illinois, Nebraska), SEC (LSU), and Big 12 (Texas) teams, the Pac12 isn't in much of a position to criticize the strength of other conferences.

Look at the superstar playmakers that have gone up against an SEC team! They don't look half as good as they do before then. I.E. LaMichael james vs LSU! He's supposed to be so awesome and yet looks average against LSU. Other conferences will be able to hang when they get smarter! These "fast pace and spread offenses" will not work when you are playing against 11 of the top defensive players in the nation. Coaches like Chip Kelly need to learn that.
Oregon, OU, Boise, Wisconson, etc. will never be able to compete with them. Anyone with half of a brain knows that. The south has the best athletes in the nation and they are loyal to their state schools. Louisiana and Alabama are gold mines for football players. The style of play will never be matched. The reason the SEC is so dominate is because they teach physical football and focus on defense! Everyone else focuses on skill players and potential Heisman candidates.
Look, it's plain and simple! Auburn was a one hit wonder. They got lucky and found a machine to play quarterback. The 3 consistent top teams in the SEC will always be LSU, Bama, and Fla. There will always be some teams that will compete, but those 3 will be good every year. All 3 will be in dog fights to win the SEC. If any of those 3 were in ANY other conference, they would DOMINATE! Put LSU or Bama in ANY other conference and I guarantee they would reach the NC EVERY year.

Yeah i watched this game...LSU did not look good, Oregon looked equally bad. LSU just got lucky, Oregon even had more offensive yards than LSU . LSU d-line has already pushed them around once and would do it again. Read Chip Kellys comments about them. He was amazed at lsus d line. Miles wasn't impressed by anything Oregon did. There are two things that have killed Oregons hopes this year, and that is...
1. Cliff Harris being stupid, because he was our best corner.
2. Darron Thomas isnt running enough, he was much more mobile last year and it gave a much better dimension to the offense.
Oregon is a contender in the NCAA now, after the previous two years, the PAC is starting to get notoriety back. They aren't up there with the top SEC teams, but as a conference, its prbly

@Havahunter14 Actually no they werent. Oregon's starting corner, Cliff Harris was suspended. You threw to that side all game, on a Freshman. LaMichael and Kenjon Barner went down before the half with cramps and we had to put all new freshman in that game. We also lost 8 offensive starters. and dont think LSU is the shit because the beat Bama, Bama's kicker missed 4 field goals that if he mad overtime wouldnt of even been an option. so Fuck you!

Look at the superstar playmakers that have gone up against an SEC team! They don't look half as good as they do before then. I.E. LaMichael james vs LSU! He's supposed to be so awesome and yet looks average against LSU. Other conferences will be able to hang when they get smarter! These "fast pace and spread offenses" will not work when you are playing against 11 of the top defensive players in the nation. Coaches like Chip Kelly need to learn that.

Oregon, OU, Boise, Wisconson, etc. will never be able to compete with them. Anyone with half of a brain knows that. The south has the best athletes in the nation and they are loyal to their state schools. Louisiana and Alabama are gold mines for football players. The style of play will never be matched. The reason the SEC is so dominate is because they teach physical football and focus on defense! Everyone else focuses on skill players and potential Heisman candidates.

Look, it's plain and simple! Auburn was a one hit wonder. They got lucky and found a machine to play quarterback. The 3 consistent top teams in the SEC will always be LSU, Bama, and Fla. There will always be some teams that will compete, but those 3 will be good every year. All 3 will be in dog fights to win the SEC. The Pac-12 is all about SPEED football, SEC is all about POWER football, Oregon is the "True" definition of "speed", while Auburn loves the "power" game. Both teams are good but Oregon will always produce more because of the way they recruit and practice. 2012 Auburn doesnt look like there gonna be much without Cam Newton, and I think if they play again Oreg would win.
