The presenter has mixed up many of the facts here between jadeite and nephrite. Jadeite is only 300 years old in chineses history and is mined on a scale in burma that far exceeds the production of nephrite, the origional true jade. Nephrite Jade is the stone that belongs in the divine realms of china's culture and dates back more than 7,000 years. I see now how people are very confused with the story of Jade. nice try though : )
