  • what music is playing?

  • Antonio Davis made 5 accounts to dislike this

  • That was only game three, series tied 1-1, but after this Pacers knew they were fucked.

  • the birds eye view for this play is the second most amazing this ive ever seen in the garden. the best was the play

  • damn the garden exploded. i couldnt stand it when ewing, spree, houston and the other great knickerbockers retired. i havent watch a full knicks game for 3 years up until now.

  • I miss the old days , new York for life knicks we go hard

  • no fans get it in like the garden

  • Uh, Knicks didn't win the championship that year, kid.

  • this foul was one of the biggest jokes ever, he didnt touch LJ even REMOTELY on that play. bullshit.

  • This shot is historic....Straight mental breakdown by the Pacers

  • great vid, I´m a bulls fan but the shot when all the msg fans go crazy is simply amazing!!!

  • ....and the Garden erupts...

  • loved it when LJ said all praise to allah!!!!!! i love the knicks

  • almost 11 years later still don't see a foul there...I mean what ever happened to the term "playoff foul"???

  • Gotta love Knicks fans. The Spurs won the championship in 1999, not the Knicks,

  • Voted worst call in the history of the NBA by Sporting News, ESPN, Pro Basketball Mag., and many other outlets.

  • I was at this game with my mother, we were eight rows behind the Pacer's basket. I remember this play clear as day: we were in a position that was almost in a straight line with the ball's arch as it left LJ's hands. In that split second before it went in, I thought "oh shit, that's going in." Sure enough it did and the Garden exploded. My mother jumped in my arms and was hysterical. Awesome memories, I'll never forget that day.

  • "led them to win the championship"

Wrong! Spurs won the first of Duncans 4 titles vs Knicks that year.

  • Man that had 2 be awesome to have been there

  • As knick fan from the Tri-State erea. THOSE Knicks VS Pacer series were the NBA championship. Hopefully you understand what I meant by that. It had everything in those games. Tremendous plays on both ends. They were bitter rivals. Reggie was one of the most feared and respected players. The crowd would gasp when he got the ball. Those were the days. Patrick never got the credit he deserved.

  • Seeing MSG rise to their feet on the score gives me goosebumps! Only if knicks could make a conference final again....infact make that the play-offs!

  • lol you right im a laker fan too and it got me excited just watching the clip

  • Negative. I stand by what I said. Even the ref Jess Kersey admitted later that he messed up this call.

  • I wonder if he (Kersey) was one of those NBA company men Tim Donaghy said Stern used to fix games.

  • to clarify, what I meant was that Larry was fouled before the shot on this play.

  • I loved LJ, I was a UNLV fan during the Tarkanian era. having said that, there was a horrible call by the ref on this play. There's no way that Larry was in the act of shooting (even by the NBA's loose continuation standards). Still the Knicks were a gutty team that year and deserved to beat the Pacers.

  • Its called a continuation, he was fouled while on the move

  • He deserves to go to the HOF due to accomplishments in college and with the Hornets. A fantastic physical player who doesnt get the dredit he deserves. The man still had a career with a bad back that would have retired any other player.

  • not eve a pacers fan... or a knicks hater, and I still don't see a foul

  • LJ was one of the good ones. A bum back ruined what could have been a HOF career.

  • The aerial view of the crowd still gives me shivers. I remember jumping off my couch and hitting my forearm off the ceiling when that went it.

  • Yes, at 0:15, the crowd goes up like one man, incredible!

  • I remember those Chicago NY playoff battles in the early to mid 90's. it seem like no matter what the knicks did, jordan & the bulls always triumph *lol*

  • "I compiled this video of larry johnsons amazing 4 point play that won them the playoff game and led them to win the championship"

Exactly what "championship" are you talking about. They sure didn't win an NBA championship if that's what you're talking about.

But yeah, this is one of the most memorable plays ever.

  • eastern conference championship

  • Only losers count conference championships.

  • Eastern Conference Championship.

  • im not even a knicks fan and still i get chills from watchin this vid

  • Momentazo en el Madison, gracias por el recuerdo

  • that image of the Garden exploding when he hit it will live with me forever. what an awesome moment.

  • i loved that pacers team, but man...that shot made history

  • i remember this like it was yesterday. Amazing.

  • This video is insane. So freaking dramatic, my bones were shaking. It makes me want to go play basketball. What a shot.

  • at :14 all i can say whoaaaaaaa

  • wtf he didnt even get touched

  • Ever heard of a hand check dumb ass?

  • well doesnt look like a hand check and those are f'n gay

  • You're right. It was more of a body check -__-. It was a foul dude. Get over it.

  • dude theres no such thing as a body check retard and Tim Donaughy probably was the ref.

  • There was contact but WAY before the shot. They called it as continuation but I think it should have been a non shooting foul.

  • Dude when he heard the whistle he put up the shot. That's a continuation.

    I don't understand how you don't get that's a foul.

He bumped him when he was facing him, that's a foul. LJ shot when he heard the whistle

    3 point play. That's it.

  • 4 point play. But still.

  • My God what a video. It chilled me to the bone and made me wanna cry.

  • the description says they won the championship. no they didnt. they lost to the spurs in 1999 finals. also this 4 point play bullshit, major phantom call there. knicks big market team. FIX, well manipulated knicks favor, of course they had to milk the series to get more money out of it, but the league allready decided the series before it even started.

  • Shut the fuck up dv. If the league fixed games, the Knicks wouldn't be where they are right now you hating piece of faghole shit.

  • They meant Eastern Conference championship genius.

  • amazing video man, im a freakin Heat fan and i love watching this vid...Knicks were bad ass ,gotta give it to em

  • gives me goosebumps every time, those rivalries vs. the bulls, heat and pacers in the 90s, good times being a knicks fan

  • you didn't compile this. it's from an MSG special. 100 most memorable moments in the garden.

  • i did compile this i have uploaded the full thing from the MSG special aswell but that goes for 8 minutes so i used clips from that to make a shorter version for people to watch so they wouldn't have to watch an 8 minute video.

  • @kosta9578 that's an "edit", not a "compilation"

  • @soSiccK What number was this?

  • New York was on fire that night!

  • I miss LJ and I'm not even a knicks fan.

    I miss the golden days of the NBA :{

  • You didn't "make" this video. Don't take credit for it.

  • i know. I compiled it from various clips in the long version which i have also uploaded for those who wish to see this incredible moment in it's entirety.

I compiled this so people would not have to watch an 8 minute video.

  • alright cool. Sounded like you were trying to say you filmed it. My bad.

  • I'll never forget that shot of the Garden crowd going crazy! Oh how I long for days like these at the Garden again!:-(

  • i know i remember watching that game it was in my church's basement after service and when he hit that shot we all LOVED it!! there is no better footage of a crowds reaction, than that night at MSG :)

  • chills, down my back, its amazing

  • great video man, u totally feel the passion and that way u felt that very moment when u were actually watching this as it happened

  • Unbelievable. Being a New Yorker, this brings chills down my spine. Great video!

  • ive made a 4 pt play before.. wheres my dramatic video?

  • my friend....that was hillarious

  • Were you ever in the NBA conference finals?

  • I remember where I was; one of the greatest moments; tears the eyes to see the Garden explode. Wish we could return to the top.

  • "led them to win the championship"

Wow. Okay. Wow. I never knew. I appreciate this history lesson, you have educated me well and I thank you for that with the entirety of my heart.

    Wow.

  • i love this vid....... i want to fill like this again.. WHEN WILL IT HAPPEN

  • "led them to win the championship"

    Ok then

  • Made my ass, you dope it has the MSG logo right on top, it's a commercial I've seen about 100 times on the network. For those not in the area there's an MSG network that he took this from.

  • i merely shortened the long version so people wouldn't have to watch a 7 minute video. People are able to see this moment in a short video which i think is suitable for them and even for me to relive this great moment. I'm sorry that i gave the idea that i made this video from my own videos i edited the original long video with the bits that i wanted to put in and then added music. Sorry if this has caused any problems for anyone.

  • this is not a commercial or if it is for some weird and odd reason is i didn't know about it. I compiled this video from clips and added music. yes it has the MSG logo on it its because i edited the program that was shown on MSG which was the longer version about this playoff moment.

  • i loved the long version!!! please can you tell me, where i can look at it or download it? thank you!!!!!

  • VERY NICE U SHOULD PLAY IT LIVE ON NATIONAL TELIVISION LOLl

  • nice video, i really wish the knicks were good again

  • man how have the mighty have fallen. i miss moments like this and H20s shot against the heat. one day i will be able to hold my head high again.

  • um ya you dint make this video you fucking tool.

  • i still get tears of joy when i watch the Garden explode

  • still gives me chills up my spine everytime i see it. one of my great knick memories as a child.

  • or you took it from MSG?

  • A great moment in Knicks history. You should specify tho...that it led to them winning the CONFERENCE championship. We're still waiting for that elusive NBA title...perhaps sometime this century?? Hehe

  • lets go knicks 07 plaYofffs!!!! this and the allan houston shot from the top of the arc are the best knicks moments

  • this is great.

One of the greatest moments of my life.

    Bleed the Orange and Blue.

  • great vid awesome shot!
