This is great! I have the jeep bag, too. Dumdums are genius and I'm also glad you mentioned the moby. I was planning on bringing a different carrier but the moby sounds like a better choice.
@amygirl1983 Thanks! My jeep bag just broke the other day! Boo! I think I might get a backpack style diaper bag this time! I really like my Moby for flying, just cause it a little more comfy and I can use it as a nursing cover too, so one less thing I have to pack! Glad you found this helpful! :)
Great tips! I'm so nervous about flying across the states. I like the sucker tip. Ears popping is my greatest fear. I favorited it, so I can refer back to it.
For the TSA thing, you can bring liquids for babies, they do have to be screened so whoever is reading this leave them out of your bag, also jars of baby food too leave those out of your bags. It takes up a lof of the passengers for TSA to go through the entire diaper bag for 1 jar of baby food so making sure all liquids and baby food are out and easly to get to parents through security a lot faster :)
i will be travelling with my daughter in a couple weeks (she will be 10months by then) and i wanted to know what tips u have on food. I am still BF but the flight is 10hrs (yikes!) its my first time flying with her and am really nervous she will do more crying than sleeping on that looooooong flight. thanks
@RQsuperglue Woo that is a long flight! Just make sure you packs lots of things to keep her entertained! Food wise, I always bring puffs and Mum Mums cause Scarlett loves to snack on them. I've brought baby food before too, but I always bring the kind that comes in a packet, like Ellas kitchen, or Simply Organic, because it's was less messy and Scarlett can eat it right out of the packet. A lot of places in the airport sell little fresh fruit salads, I usually pick up on of those for me
@RQsuperglue and then let Scarlett munch on some fruit too! Hope that was a little helpful! I have to fly by myself with Scarlett to England pretty soon, and that flight has me pretty nervous! Let me know how your long flight goes, and if you have any tips for me! :)
Thanks for the tips! I am planning to go on a 2 hour plane ride and my daughter will be 17 months old at the time. Great advice and thank you very much. Very helpful :)
