You look beautiful and just know that u will be SUCH AN INSPIRATION for many sistahs! I've been natural for 8 years and so I pray you continue to enjoy your journey.
I love the way that style is at 4:26. I wear my hair like that but what is the name of it? Are they just twist? When you say that people think you want hair added
LOL @ 4:49... but thats how I started my natural look and sometimes I just did it just because I liked the Kojak look..and to shock the hell out of my family LOL
Why would you not have confidence? Sweetie, you look the same way you did with hair. Your face is still very attractive. Great features. Hair is an accessory. We as Black women need to stop spending all our money putting stuff on our hair and start spending that money putting something into our heads, like knowledge.
you must be a very confident woman cuz to me it takes alot to shave ur head off. i am also going natural but i am just going to let the relaxer grow out of my hair. i am starting to become one with my nappiness but there are times when im like damn i hate my hair i just want a relaxer but i kno that will just ruin my hair. so how do u keep ur confidence up?
Thanks for your comment. All my life I had a problem with my confidence. I always compared my self to the next sister. I wanted a natural journey so I decided that instead of waiting for it to grow out, I would shave it. I wont lie, for a few days I did wear a wig. But then I thought, who gives a care what ohers think of me. I learned to love myself through the shaving of my head. If I can pull that off, I could do anything!!
That was a BEAUTIFUL video! I didn't transition either though i tried with microbraids (lol), but you know the horror stories about those things. I had 1/2 inch when i cut it off end of Dec 07. You looked really nice with yours!!
Thank you so much. I guess I was so anxious to get my hair to its natural state, I just said forget the transition. Lol How long have you been natural sis?
wow...nevermind about transitioning you went cold turkey cut. I love it. That just shows how powerful and in control of your identity you are. Much success on your new journey.
Hey Najahface!!! Thank you so much for viewing!! I've been watching your videos so I can know how to properly care for my hair when it grows back. Thanks for all you do for us natural sistahs. God bless
WOW! God bless your granny. I miss mine so much. I love the comment about torturing our crown and glory. That's truth spoken. You'll have much support on YouTube from others who are on the same journey. Much success sis.
Lol!! Thanks hon! My family thought I was looney!!

Brave Sistah!!! Loving it though. I know I couldn't do it. Been in transition for about 9months. 80% natural. Cutting as it grows out.
