i love your rendition of this piece ... but in my opinion ( and this may only be mine) i would have prefered the first "A-B-E-G-G" theme to be played just a bit slower... i love enjoying that ingenious melody ... truly beautiful

Perfect warm-up for the forthcoming concerts in Sweden. Posh trousers with satin trim along the seam. Some musicians are favoring a sort of Chinese style loose fitting tunic which is much more comfortable than the tux , especially for conductors (conducting is very hot work.) I wish the organizers arrange some close-up of Geroge's hands and face next time and the camera should be closer to him. Congrats on another triumph; the Chinese communisty must be very proud of you.

This is a tough piece for sure. Very maturely played Nice ebb and flow through some of the more tedious variations. #3 is pretty sick. That must be a really cool piano to get that one out like that. I can tell you have really worked on your posture- it's much improved (except 6:58, which I'll give you, since the piece is over. :)
