Hey Sean! Thanks for the feedback! I would like to clear on thing up as I think it may be a bit misunderstood.
We do not offer the internship. We simply put everyone's name on a list and send it to our participating customers. Our customers then decide if they would like to offer an internship to the graduating engineers.
We have yet to record how many have been offered internships. We do however know one student was offered a full time job once they completed the course!
Great idea as long as someone is hiring Solidworks engineers. Solidworks is certainly not the most popular solution out there. Solidworks falls in after AutoCAD Inventor, CATIA, and Siemens NX.
Thanks for the feedback. We are an SW reseller, so the only thing that we would really have the staff for (CAD wise, we have other products) is SW.
The training course that we put together is an intro course so it is really designed for people who have little to no experience with SW. We think it has some value, especially after AutoDesk's Q4 reporting in January.
