Speaking of complaining, I can't get over that the Liberace series was the highest rated of all 3 seasons of the Batman TV series. This was, imo, one of the WORST of them all and THE worst of the second season.

Although, if the police are THAT ineffective, and so dependent on Batman and Robin, why not arrange for training camps where some of their officers are trained up BY Batman and Robin in all areas of crime fighting. True they wouldn't be up to Batman standards, they wouldn't even be up to Robin standards, but even sub Robin standard is still a far improvement over O'Hara's ability to be bewildered and terrified at the prospect of having to untie his own shoe laces.
