@kaylerjane they're not gonna hurt you, obviously. they nipped me maybe once in all the 3 years I owned them, and it was not even hard enough to be a nip or pinch, didn't hurt, and they don't have teeth (unless they're tiny ones?) and it let go right away.
the larval form of a type of salamander, native to mexico, hence the name 'mexican walking fish'. Most strains have now lost the ability to complete their original life cycle and become salamanders, but some still do.
It doesn't require stones. They are amphimbians that can remain in theyre larval stage for their lifetime, they have gills to which they can extract oxygen.
It's not like those salamanders you see in petshops. =)
@PATRIENIX NO!!! They have gills that let them take air from the water XD nothing breaths water.. but all can breath in water. just needs more oxy in it if we want to lol. sorry Im bored lol
