  • Thanks man, one of the few guys out there who can show us where it is.OS X's Finder will not find it if you search so you are pretty stuffed otherwise.

  • go to the "all my files" portion of finder…type in 'Li'…the library folder should pop up, if not just add letters till it does and then go from there…at least thats what i did and i have Lion

  • i can't find steam in app support i searched it in spotlight too

  • @TheSeanbarry same here, god I hate my mac sometimes

  • Thanks man! =D

  • OMGGG WHERE THE FUCK IS THE LIBRARY FOR LION FUCKKKKK

  • @rave208 LOL :D haven't updated to lion yet sorry mate

  • @rave208 Open Finder

  • 1.Go to Finder

    2.Press Command+Shift+G

    3.Type ''~/Library''

    4.The fucking library will appear

  • @appleleaf2009

    THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCCCHHHH:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • @rave208 Install OnyX :)

  • For OS Lion : Go to the terminal and type "defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE;killall Finder" . now you can see hidden files and directories. go to your home directory (your name) and you will see your hidden library.

to deactive it: defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE;killall Finder

  • @xgimli3 sorry mate, this video is a little old

  • @skateoria FOund out how to find out -.-

  • @xgimli3 I had the same problem, but found out!! it's because the library folder is hidden on lion. to find it, open the Finder folder and then press "cmd"+"shift"+"G". It will ask you to type in the name for the folder you want to see, here you're gonna write "~/library" and then it's same procedure as in the tutorial... i hope it helped :)

  • @FreeRiderDZ Found it in a mine craft video, but thanks anyways!

  • @xgimli3 oh okay, have fun :)

  • @xgimli3 I only got a mac yesterday lol, but I worked this shit out. Go in finder, search for steam. Under the search box should be a small plus sign. Click it to add a new search preference. Click the drop down box where it says 'kind' and choose other... scroll down to system files, click that. after exiting this little window you need to change the drop down box next to it from 'aren't included' to 'are included'. Job done

  • @xgimli3 simply click on finder then hold down the "alt" button and click Go in the top bar, like this comment to move it up

  • @rave208 OR i could just reply to your comment so your near the top :D

  • when i go to my user name the library folder isn't there plz help
