The band broke up in early February of 2004, and this performance, CREATION FESTIVAL, was held in early July of 2003 (Hershey, PA). That probably explains the special glow about her. That's quite a workout for a pregnant gal too, singing through and entire album and then some...

Really, it isn't about being better. And it all depends on what style of music you like. Maybe some people just didn't like 80's style music. And maybe people just like a female's voice more. I honestly like both versions, although this one a little more because I find her voice very soft and soothing. And it's not "stolen", it's simply a cover.

I have to disagree with both comments. 1- The original version is absolutely superior to this lame and desperate-for-a- hit - copy ; her voice is mediocre at best and has no power whatsoever. I'll let you know. Tears for Fears? Right on! Yep, there was a lot of great music from the 80's and a lot of really bad music too. I graduated HS in '89 - if you didn't like Bobby Brown or Poison, you were a bit out of luck that year!
