All the Armed Services are great and have their purpose, it just depends on which one fits better for you. Make sure you do your research so that you can make an informed decision.
Congrats Lcpl. on pursuing grad school and utilizing TA to help pay for it. How does your Mrs. like California and base housing? It has got to be a tremendous blessing to have her there while you work and do school. I salute you both!!! Blessings to you and your family.
I believe with a GED, you have to have college credits to be accepted. These days a high school diploma is needed because there is so much competition to enlist these days.
@DelandoBrad i saw a few boys from Marsoc going through there when i went through. you should try it out, nothing beats the paratroopers, that green light, that adrenaline as you exit the plane. fuck yeah. AIRBORNE!!!!!!!!!!!
I get that question a lot..for me, I made the decision bc I wanted to see what the USMC was all about before I decided to "lead" Marines. There are enlisted to officer programs that are available so maybe in the future, but we'll see.
just tell me which one is the best one to join. What's the diffrence between you "The Marines" and the wack ass Army?

@davidperaza210 Delando is right, with a GED you're going to need a minimum of 12 completed college credits in order to be eligible for the Corps.

I have a question..
Why didn't you join as an officer if you already have your bachelors? Just curious, if you don't mind me asking.
