Obviously he/she has never listened to Reich's "Music For 18 Musicians" or Adams' Phrygian Gates. Minimalism is not trivial, even if some Glass' works are quite boring. But this happens during all the history of music: think to the thousands of operas written until now. Not all of them are like "Le Nozze di Figaro"...

Ho avuto la fortuna di assistere ad un concerto di Stockhausen nel '75 qui a Torino con lui presente per la Prima italiana di Harlekin watch?v=zi-MDyQ2YIQ

La musica di Stockhausen, come quella di tutti i grandi compositori, può piacere o non piacere, ma non si può liquidare con una scrollata di spalle, come invece faccio io con Einaudi od Allevi :-)
