like tub weird sink awsome bedroom i would make the study a bedroom cool closet cool roomates bedroom i would make a living room LOVE THE KITCHEN i love to cook.
This is a nice apartment, what part of Japan? I'm planning on going to college there and being an english teacher hahaha so I'v ebeen looking around lol
I thought I saw a woman looking down at you from the inside of the corner of your closet...like the Grudge woman or something....lolol just kidding just kidding! =D
Ok what I've noticed so far is that every Japanese apt tour I've seen on here the bath room (sink washer and shower) are always the closest things like he first room after you walk in. And that the biggest room is the bed room. Thanks so much for posting this I love asain culture and was curiouse how Japanese apts look!
is that whats it for!? omg the first person to say to wash your hands! i asked everyone here and even japanese people say... i dont know... and im like huh, but your japanese! whats it for?
... im talking about the toliet sink thing...
on japanese lady told me she brushes her teeth there... and... well... yuk...
That Japanese bath tub sucks big time. When I first move to Japan the apartment had one like that. In order to turn on the heater I had to crank that thing for a minute. I swear the whole building knew I was gonna take a shower when I started to crank it. lol.
how i would love my life to be: no.1-be half japanese girl (i'm a girl) no.2-grow up abroad (like greece where i live now ;P) no.3-move to japan when i get 15 (i'm 16 now :( ) so no one will stare and think of me as foreigner, and no.4-not let my parents put pressure on me about traditional stuff etc (like ''don't act that way'' or ''girls are supposed to be invisible'' etc)!!
I lived there in 2007, working as an English teacher, so I don't know how much it would cost now days with the economy having changed so much. back then it was about $500 a month US dollars equivalent...which fluctuates regularly. :)
@drudrafish gosh thats a little bit of money for a nice and clean apartment like that what is the company of the apartment called and wat part of japan is it. is it in tokyo.??
Well, the apartment cost me about $500 US dollars equivalent in yen...and as for cosy...not really. It was Very drafty and the heater/AC unit only affected 2 rooms so I was hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. And the doors were the paper kind that double as a wall and can be removed if you want - super neat for culture immersion, but one ends up missing the privacy of insulated concrete walls. I did love the tatame and the futon though! ^_^
yes, quite large, but it was a family apartment complex, and I shared it with another English teacher. And, honestly, it was drafty as a barn - couldn't keep it warm in the winter or cool in the summer.

That's actually quite cheap for Japan. I live in a Condominium in Shibuya. My uncle is paying well over $1,098 a month...(¥107,115)
I like your apartment, though :33 It's very organized!
