Mainstreamers and newer fans of contemporary Rap (not Hip Hop) would call this old - there is a great need to legitimise current music so anything pre-2000 is branded "Old School" when it fact Old School refers to anything made before 1987/91. They don't understand these nuances unfortunately which is why the poster b4 u can even associate this with NERD, who are closer to Outkast than they are to Hiero. I doubt they would work with NERD anyways.
