Listening to Daniel Nazareth conducting the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra in a performance of Johann Strauss's "Rosen aus dem Süden," was a classic case of the student surpassing the master. Daniel 's orchestra recreates the magical sound that von Karajan used to achieve. This is sublime music, embodying both power and sensitivity. I so look forward to the premiere of Daniel's operatic composition, "Leonardo's Bridge," in Istanbul in 2011.
A wonderfully melodic, effervescent and enthusiastic performance! Maestro seems to be both in total command while guiding with a gentle touch, which might be a contradiction for some, but for him, it is clearly his great gift! It makes me want to be either a musician or a conductor, he makes both look like great fun! Bravo!
q buena musica felicitaciones

@zskfan100 Yes, they do, and they do a wonderful job. But this is Strauss' original version, recorded in Leipzig, Germany.
