Steve McDonald captured the essence of what it means to be a MacDonald; hospitable, kind, forgiving and proud. Im proud to be a descendent from the largest clan in Scotland. I hope to be there soon. "My Heart Belongs to Scotland" too.

Commited in the name of religion by Dalrymple,Master of Stair. He wasThe Secretary of State for Scotland and a yes man for the English and their King.
Thanks for the information. I figured it was Hollie Smith because that's who it is on the US album, bad assumption on my part, but thanks for the correction.
This version of Valley of the Weeping was on the very hard to find New Zealand only issue of Sons of Somerled. Tracks from this NZ album, and another called Celtic Warrior, were used for the international version of Sons. The lady singing with Steve is Wendy McMillan.
I've only heard the US version, so I have a question and a comment.
Anyone know where I can find this version of the CD?
I have to say that I like the sound of this version, but I kind of miss the echo line in the US version, then again this is Steve McDonald/Hollie Smith, you can't go wrong in my opinion.
Makes ya proud just to be a Scotsman !

I love this version of Steve McDonald.
The CD that came out in the USA has pretty good music on it, but the version on the US version, is horrible...
