It had a wide variety of audience and thats including the artist hip hop "Curren$y". Even though the series was short. I loved that Nujabes worked well with this show. You might want to check out the Ghost in the Shell series, or Cowboy Bebop. CB is producted by the same guys, actually, and there's a lot of overlap. Neither of these shows are particularly ..weabooish? Not much suspension of disbelif, no calling of attacks, or other general weirdness that messes with a lot of non-accustomed viewers.
