well, because of thermal air currents, it could seemingly randomly rise or fall, and because of wind currents it could change direction like you see throughout the video. because we are at 10000 feet, gravity is actually slightly less than it is at ground level, offering a small amount of extra hangtime. The only reason it stays in the air in the first place is because of its aerodynamic abilities, allowing the air to flow mostly under it instead of on top of it. Does that answer your question?

@cheezyknees Paper plane drops faster at 10000 ft. The force of gravity decrease for less than 0.15% from sea level, however, the effect of less air resistance from thinner air makes it drop much faster. Also, aerodynamic does not work the way you described. The paper plane is not powered, therefore if the air passed around its wing is unbalanced, it will stall. There goes the physics lesson, hope it helped =)
